据报道，6月17日12时左右，游乐项目“创极速光轮”因技术故障停运一小时左右。该景点在迪士尼快速通行证适用的景点之列，属于比较热门的景点。而当天接近12时的时候，“创极速光轮”突然发生技术故障，停止运行。而在此之前，有很多游客已经在11时左右就排队等候了。根据工作人员的解释，故障原因或为安全系数设置过高，红外线扫描到异常情况进而封锁轨道，而这一说法并没有得到迪士尼园方的证实。而到下午13时左右，“创极速光轮”故障修复。
