Anhui started storm IV-level emergency response 83 sites more than 100 millimetres of rainfall

CNS, Hefei, June 19 (reporters Wang Di and Wu Lan)-19th, suffered heavy rains hit southern Anhui. According to statistics, 83 sites that day accumulated rainfall exceeding 100 mm, maximum cumulative rainfall of 237.2 mm.

安徽启动暴雨Ⅳ级应急响应 83站点雨量超100毫米

  中新网合肥6月19日电 (王娣 吴兰)19日,安徽南部遭遇强降雨袭击。据统计,当日有83个站点累计雨量超过100毫米,最大累计雨量达237.2毫米。


  18日安徽省正式进入梅雨期,当日午后起,大别山区和江南南部出现短时强降水、雷暴等强对流天气。19日,强降水再次袭击安徽南部地区。


  据统计,19日0-16时,安徽全省范围内有230个站点累计雨量超过50毫米,其中有83个站点累计雨量超过100毫米,最大降水量岳西县平岗站累计雨量达237.2毫米。


  针对此次强降雨过程,安徽省气象局于19日9时30分起,启动重大气象灾害(暴雨)Ⅳ级应急响应。


  此间气象专家提醒,未来三天,淮河流域强降雨中心位于淮河中上游地区,需要关注淮河流域上游强降雨及可能造成的汛情,并且要注意防范持续强降水可能引发的山区洪涝、地质灾害及城市内涝等次生灾害。
