  所谓转运,也称转场,就是要把已经搭载了载荷的火箭从总装厂房垂直转运到发射塔架。火箭组装测试后,运往发射台可以采取水平运输和垂直运输两种方式。在航天发展的早期,水平运输方式由于比较简单,采用得较多。现如今,各国越来越青睐垂直运输方式。


  垂直运输能够最大限度地保持火箭及航天器的状态不变,提高测试的可靠性和安全性。如果水平转运,发射时才竖起来,可能会导致可靠性不高,所以火箭组装后运往发射台,一般采用垂直转运的方式。

  发射平台是火箭登天的起点,可以为火箭提供各种无微不至的照顾。在海南文昌发射场,长征七号使用的发射平台并不仅仅是一个用来支撑火箭站立的铁疙瘩,同时也是一个集纳了多套系统的大型精密设备,是火箭成功发射不可或缺的幕后英雄。


  火箭从站立起来开始到最终点火升空都跟发射平台紧密相连。这个平台本身重量就达到1800吨,加上长七火箭发射时接近600吨的重量,总重量达到了2400吨,平台的面积相当于两个篮球场大。


  发射平台一个最重要的任务就是把火箭从这里运往将近3公里之外的发射塔架。如何做到的呢?就是靠有点像火车车轮一样的重型钢轨,在电源车的驱动下,发射平台可以缓缓向前行驶。


  与过去不同,这个移动平台最大的特点是,它不光要会走直线,而且,要会拐弯儿。


  设计之初,为了不破坏文昌当地的生态环境,长七火箭行进的路线要跟长五火箭共用一段轨道,这就要求平台要拐4个接近90度的大弯,在中国的航天史上也算是第一次。


  和中国过去在发射场使用的发射平台不同,文昌卫星发射中心几乎把所有的地面支持工作都集中在这个发射平台上来进行,这主要是因为海南气候多变、台风频繁,所以需要最大限度缩短火箭在发射场的停留时间,迅速完成发射。


  活动发射平台上精确的细节设计

  别以为这只是个喷水的工作,里面也大有学问。早喷了会对火箭造成灾难性的破坏,晚喷了也起不到防护作用。所以,设计的时候,整个阀门的一致性以及喷水的可靠性,都进行了充分地讨论和实验,这也是对此次发射台的一个挑战。
