习近平指出，在本届上海合作组织峰会上，巴基斯坦将正式签署《加入上海合作组织义务的备忘录》，这是巴基斯坦成为上海合作组织正式成员进程中关键一步，中方期待同巴方在上海合作组织框架内开展深入合作。
侯赛因表示，巴中友谊在巴基斯坦深入人心，两国在涉及彼此核心利益和重大关切问题上一贯相互支持，巴方坚决支持中方在台湾、涉藏、南海问题上的原则立场。 巴方期待着在经济发展特别是中巴经济走廊建设、基础设施、反恐安全等领域和联合国、上海合作组织等多边事务中继续密切同中方合作。
