6000间蛇笼内养殖六七万条蛇
近日，法制晚报记者专程来到张家口万全县孔家庄镇方宵宵创立的蛇类驯养繁殖示范基地采访。进入大门后一排红砖红瓦房呈现在眼前，别看这不算起眼的一排普通的房，可房里养的蛇价值有五六百万元，里面建了6000间蛇笼。
进入夏季养的蛇比冬季又多了许多，到五月底已有三万条蛇，加上学员帮他养殖的，总共有六七万条，其中六成以上是毒蛇。
花21万买种蛇因温度低全部死亡
2008年6月，方宵宵只身前往江苏、浙江广西等地的养蛇场打工。一年后，他掌握了最基本的抓蛇、蛇蛋孵化和一些诊断蛇疾的技术。回到张家口，他拿着父亲的养老钱到广东，买了21万元的种蛇，其中有五步蛇、眼镜蛇、大王蛇等五个品种的毒蛇。
种蛇运回20多天后，一些蛇便张着嘴不进食，盘着不动，还有鼻涕流出。半个月内，这批种蛇全部死亡。经过分析，原来蛇适宜的温度为25℃至28℃。北方温度低，蛇房忽冷忽热，蛇受不了。父亲得知后没有责怪他，又找亲属借来十万元，鼓励儿子继续养殖。
同年7月，方宵宵从江西、湖北花5万元买了1000颗种蛇蛋。父子俩总怕湿度不够，不到两天就浇一回水。由于过于潮湿，蛇蛋发霉了，最终只孵化出300多条小蛇。尽管没达到预期效果，但方宵宵还是看到了希望。
未来
再建两排蛇房带动学员养殖
