涉嫌受贿近千万 广州增城“小官大贪”当庭认罪
中新网广州7月1日电 (蔡敏婕)广州一名副处级官员“小官大贪”近千万元，被控受贿罪，1日在广州市中级人民法院出庭受审。被告人蒋志恒认罪，希望法庭考虑他是主动投案自首，能减轻处罚。

　　2016年1月22日，广州市人民检察院指控称，广州市越秀区人民检察院决定，依法对广州市增城经济技术开发区秘书长蒋志恒涉嫌受贿案件立案侦查，并采取强制措施。

　　广州检方称，在2007年至2012年期间，蒋志恒利用担任广东省增城工业区管理委员会主任、增城经济技术开发区秘书长等职务的便利，在相关工程项目的建设当中，为三名工程承包商谋利并收受贿赂共905万元，其中，最大一笔贿款是860万元。

　　广州检方认为，蒋志恒利用职务便利，非法收受贿赂，为他人谋利。依据相关法律，应当以受贿罪追究其刑事责任。

　　蒋志恒认罪，称上述承包商是当时的增城市相关领导及其亲友介绍的，因为担心受到打击报复便屈服。他表示自从被查后，便主动退赃。现在对受贿行为感到后悔，希望法庭能给予其重新改过的机会。
