今天（30日），微博@深圳供电 发布消息称，近期，有些市民朋友遭遇到了高温天气下停电的遭遇，蜀黍们也是心急如焚全力抢修，然而如果大家都像下图的市民们这么任性，不少变电站超期数年都无法建成，谁来保障我们稳定可靠的电力供应？
来自微博@深圳供电 近年来，反对变电站建设的报道频频出现。2013年4月，深圳市皓月花园小区数百名业主到市政府集会抗议在小区附近建110KV变电站。2014年5月， 西安地铁3号线变电站的施工现场，遭到附近一小区居民的破坏。2016年6月，深圳市民起诉人居环境委，变电站建在避难所不合理……
在今天的中国社会上，人们在还没有真正搞清楚变电站的情况下，就为所谓的“环保”而头脑发烧。
正如观察者网专栏作者李知非指出，变电站就是改变电压的场所。为了减少输电过程中的能量损耗，远程输电需要使用高压。在我国，常规的远程输电电压，在300公里范畴上是220kV，更远的是500kV。
要把这些电能传出到居民家中，就需要先通过变电站降压。一般情况下，每个城市的边缘或市中心都至少有一个220kV变电站，将输电电压由220kV降至 110kV，向位于负荷中心的110kV变电站供电。同理，110kV变电站的作用就是将输送到负荷中心的110kV电压降低到10kV并可靠地配送到位 于建在每栋高层居民楼下的10kV配电房的变压器，以最终将10kV降压到380/220V供广大居民使用。
可以说，变电站就是一座城市供电系统的层层枢纽，支撑起全市居民和工业用电的需求。然而，这些枢纽却跟农民工一样，遭遇了“进城难”的问题。
人们抵制变电站的原因，不外乎是担心电磁辐射会对人体健康造成危害，甚至致癌。但事实上，这样的可能性几乎是不存在的。虽然110kV甚至于500kV的电压的确很高，但其对人体产生的辐射作用却连手机都不如。

《人民日报》曾将此现象形容为“要电，不要变电站”，并建议地方政府和电力公司组织科普宣传，请专家在媒体上介绍权威科研部门的检测结果，请长期生活在变电站的工作人员现身说法，缓解居民的恐慌心理。
不过，问题又来了。就算所有科学事实都讲清楚了，仍有人质疑，因为这是缺少民主决策和公众信任的政府给出的。然而这又如何解释，西方民众对现代科技的恐惧比之国人有过之而无不及？
即使国人真的对政府如此不信任，但只要以他们参与事件的热情，自己去了解一下事物背后的科学原理并非难事。毕竟，变电站有没有辐射，并不需要是清华学子才能弄懂。
