在中国大陆，新闻媒体从来不是一个能够让人发财致富的行业；过去几年里它又变成了一个容易犯错误的危险行业。现在，它还是一个声名狼藉的行业。

自从那桩口水四溅的“女实习生强奸案”曝光后，这几天我已经在朋友圈和微信群里读到无数篇媒体人或前媒体人的自黑文章了。

不管他们写那些文章的动机究竟是什么（我也不关心），总之他们争先恐后地将他们服务过或仍在服务的报社（电视台）描绘成一个个散发着腐臭的淫窝。

我是个愚笨木讷之人，不能领会这些文章蕴含的智慧与幽默，也不能理解那些作者身上展现出来的风情与才华。只是从一个在新闻行业工作了25年的媒体人的角度出发，我觉得这些文章不论主观上为了迎合什么样的阅读趣味，客观上却对当事人、对媒体行业、对社会民意造成了严重的损害。

首先，就事论事，它们都有意无意地将一起严重的刑事案件与所谓“男女暧昧”混为一谈，这就在客观上起到了为嫌犯开脱，给受害人抹黑的效果。

这里需要再次提醒这些才子作者以及他们的粉丝们：这个事件不是文人扎堆的地方发生的一件你情我愿的风流韵事（可能会损及风化），而是一起强奸案，而且对象还是一位女大学生。

更重要的，从社会层面上说，借这个事件把所有媒体都说得乌烟瘴气的新时尚，客观上是在助长社会大众的虚无幻灭的情绪。

这里也需要再次提醒这些才子作者以及他们的粉丝们：这个案件与它的当事人和受害者是不是媒体从业人员即便不是毫无关系，也至少关系不大——并不是媒体行业使人变成了强奸犯。

由于传统媒体全行业不景气，时下越来越多媒体人无奈地离开了这个行业。

但我经常震惊于他们中的一些人刚一走出报社（电视台）大门就把自己的老本行贬低得一文不值的勇气，仿佛当年他们初次跨进那扇大门时信誓旦旦的“新闻理想”都是随口一说，就像他们从来分不清爱情与暧昧、性爱与强奸似的。

当媒体人热衷于把自己和同行描绘成性错罪者时，这个时代的欲望和创造力一定是用错了方向。

然而当这些媒体人和前媒体人纷纷想通过浅薄的自嘲乃至下贱的自污来捞取一点可怜的阅读数时，像我这样愚钝的媒体人却忍不住想追问：媒体是社会利益的看门狗，这句话难道已经过时了吗？

我深知，中国的新闻媒体距离这个崇高目标还很远很远，甚至看起来永远都不可能达到，但我们中的许多人至少仍然没有放弃努力。

因此我想对我们中的那些聪明人说：你们正在肆意诋毁的这个老本行在我心中的价值永远弥足珍贵。

近年来我从不鼓励刚跨出校园大门的少男少女进入媒体，尤其是进报社工作，我觉得这简直是在害他们。但如果他们中有人无怨无悔地要圆一回新闻梦，我现在仍然可以毫不犹豫地告诉他们：我们这些媒体人的工作还有太多的不足，我们需要被批评甚至被嘲笑，我们也许有过这样那样的道德过失，但我们中的绝大多数人都没有强奸过实习生。
