报道显示，7月4日，天津市第一中级人民法院依法对中国人民政治协商会议第十二届全国委员会原副主席、中共中央统战部原部长令计划受贿、非法获取国家秘密、滥用职权案进行了一审宣判，认定令计划犯受贿罪，判处无期徒刑，剥夺政治权利终身，并处没收个人全部财产；犯非法获取国家秘密罪，判处有期徒刑五年；犯滥用职权罪，判处有期徒刑四年，决定执行无期徒刑，剥夺政治权利终身，并处没收个人全部财产。

1，依法可从轻处罚

4，非法获取大量国家秘密材料
非法获取国家秘密是令计划的三宗罪之一。
公诉机关宣读、出示了证人霍克等人的证言、保密管理规定、密级鉴定意见等证据，以及令计划本人的供述，证实令计划在担任中央统战部部长、第十二届全国政协副主席期间，通过时任中央办公厅秘书局局长霍克等人，非法获取大量国家秘密材料，严重破坏了国家保密制度。
霍克曾是令计划在中办的下属，曾任中办秘书局局长，后被调任国家旅游局副局长一个月后落马。
5，为至少8人谋取利益或职务晋升提供帮助
承诺为楼忠福及其子谋取利益，单独或与谷丽萍共同索取、收受楼忠福给予的财物共计折合人民币1465万余元；为崔晓玉谋取利益，明知并认可谷丽萍收受崔晓玉给予的财物共计价值人民币1438万元；为潘逸阳谋取利益，单独收受、明知并认可谷丽萍收受潘逸阳给予的财物共计价值人民币761万余元；为魏新所在单位谋取利益，对其子令谷向魏新等人索取财物事后知情未予退还，收受、索取魏新等人给予的财物共计价值人民币643万余元；为李春城谋取利益，明知并认可谷丽萍收受李春城给予的欧元折合人民币89万余元；为白恩培谋取利益，收受白恩培给予的财物价值人民币60万元。
以及为霍克等人职务晋升等提供帮助，单独或与谷丽萍共同收受霍克等人给予的财物。
6，两位律师多次会见令计划
天津市第一中级人民法院根据最高人民法院下达的指定管辖决定书受理该案后，依法组成合议庭，向令计划送达了起诉书副本，同时告知其相关诉讼权利和义务。令计划委托的两位律师多次会见令计划，查阅了全案卷宗。

之前，同样被判处无期徒刑的薄熙来则不同，在一审后不服判决，递交上诉状，但山东高院最终裁定驳回上诉，维持一审无期徒刑判决。
