那么,毕业设计造出一辆真跑车需要花多少时间?答案是58天。5个本科生组成的团队在不到两个月的时间内造出了这辆以轻量化、年轻化、智能化、模块化、轻奢主义为定位的电动跑车。或许,他们创建的汽车品牌名字就揭晓了他们的秘诀——取自清华校训“行胜于言”的“行胜”。

其实,在清华美院工业设计系,每年都有毕业生想造出1∶1汽车的毕业设计,但最终都因难度太大而放弃。

在张展看来,这其中最大的困难在于,设计不能仅仅服务于造型。

一般来说,交通工具设计专业学生都把主要精力集中在图稿的模型设计上,然后交由工厂打造缩小版模型。在1∶4的油泥模型设计中,学生可以天马行空地在汽车外形、功能等方面发挥想象力。

而一旦决定把模型放大为1∶1,且要求汽车能真正行驶,就会出现很多设计与实际生产之间不匹配的问题。比如,有的造型很酷炫,但因造价、工艺技术等原因无法实现。

这就意味着,设计者必须作出“妥协”,放弃不能实现的设计细节。

因此,当张展提出造“真”车的想法时,意料之中受到各方的质疑。

“我不想‘纸上谈兵’,设计不能光是服从于造型,毕竟最终是要服务于人的。”张展希望,他可以制作出一辆真正可以坐进去感受的交通工具,拉近参观者与作品的距离。

最终,张展下定了决心。他一个人抱着电脑找投资者谈融资;联系“行动派”马军飞,俩人一拍即合,分别负责跑车的外饰和内饰。随后,还拉来了已从中国美院毕业的王帮龙负责外观设计和优化,清华汽车系张旭峰负责车架搭建与底盘,以及在汽车研究院工作的陈硕负责整车钣金和性能的品质提升。

就这样,由5个本科生组成的“行胜”团队组建成功。“以团队的形式来呈现、以创业的理念去打造,这才是我对毕业设计的定义。”在张展看来,毕业设计不是一次结束,而是一次新的开始。它的意义在于从学校到社会的转变,从个人到团队作战模式的转变。

真正开始做起来,他们才慢慢意识到这个决定的难度远远超出了想象。

在两个月的制作过程中,他们通常熬夜到第二天凌晨3点后,平均每天的睡眠时间也不到6个小时,甚至为了想办法解决每一个不可抗因素,他们最后住进了工厂里。

张展说,造车时,他们并没有设计图稿,而是在制作完车架后,直接前往距离清华40公里外的工厂做泡沫削型,突破草图的限制,在整体形态造型的三维空间上对汽车设计进行推敲。

在马军飞看来,这就像欧美服装设计师进行立体剪裁一样,在三维空间内探讨车的造型,可以在实践中探讨、解决设计与制作之间的问题。

制造中,困难也接踵而至:在切割车架的过程中,整个砂轮机飞了出去,王帮龙整个左手都受了伤;在包裹内饰的时候,由于温度较高,在打开胶罐的时候胶水喷了出来,直接喷到了马军飞的眼睛里;在跑车外壳的制作过程中,立体空间的对称问题困扰了行胜团队很久。车身两侧很难保证对称,历经多次失败后,他们在实车上建立XYZ面做好对称,终于解决了这一难题。

张展把这一次毕业设计比作一次“轻研发”。尽管这辆Tsisen电动跑车华丽亮相,并且能真正行驶,但严格意义上,很多制作过程并不符合汽车的生产规定。但这次“轻研发”赋予这辆车的,是全新的定义和设计,也为行胜团队下一辆车的研发有了方向指引。

马军飞告诉记者,这辆跑车在外观上运用凸起的棱线和面与散射的面之间的冲突语言,表现出一种冲突对比却融合的美。而轮胎尺寸调大、底盘调低,则赋予跑车更加轻盈的姿态。

为了将轻量化体现在设计中,行胜团队选择了一种轻型的、强度高的工程塑料制作内饰。车身原计划采用碳纤维实现轻量化,但由于造价和成型工艺原因,最终采用了玻璃钢。

此外,他们还使用了一种全新的操控系统:将物理按钮部分减去,保留一些必要的按钮,操作由一块尺寸为12.1英寸的屏幕代替,便于用户在其习惯的平滑屏幕上的操作体验。

在留下来的几个物理按钮中,他们也玩出了新花样:保留的蓝牙物理按键,活动可拆卸,可以放到任何他们习惯的地方操控,可以根据每个人的喜好去调整。真正符合年轻用户对跑车智能、新潮的需求。

目前,这辆跑车已接通12V电压的电路,72V主线电路的所有并联也已全部疏通,可以真正跑起来。

然而,张展坦言,Tsisen跑得并不快,声音也没有传统跑车那样的带劲儿。原因是,中国路况无法达到跑车动辄250公里以上的时速,法律也不允许。很多年轻人之所以喜欢跑车,是因为它的酷炫的外形。

因此,行胜团队试图通过“轻奢”定位体现环保理念。他们选择电能作为跑车动力,通过外形的设计感吸引年轻人接受新能源。他们认为,推动新能源汽车普及,是交通工具造型设计专业学生义不容辞的义务。

“现在市场上的电动汽车,大多是传统意义上的老年代步车,符合年轻人所需的电动汽车是一块很大的市场空白。”接下来,行胜团队会抓住未来年轻人的购车需求,提供既满足通勤,又符合他们个性、经济适用的智能电动跑车。

“这辆车最根本的意义还是在于,它是一个毕业设计。我们现在做到了1和10,建构起了大致的框架,接下来我们要做的事情,就是把2到9之间的内容给填充了。”张展说。
