　　新疆日报社原党委书记、总编辑、副社长赵新尉，因在职期间，利用职务便利，收受他人贿赂191.8万余元，经乌鲁木齐市中级人民法院审理后，近日对其作出一审判决，以受贿罪判处其有期徒刑7年，并处罚金40万元。

　　赵新尉今年59岁，原系新疆日报社党委书记、总编辑、副社长。2015年8月6日因涉嫌受贿被刑事拘留。

　　经查，2005年至2015年期间，赵新尉利用担任喀什地委委员、宣传部部长及新疆日报社党委书记、总编辑、副社长的职务便利，在工程承揽、工程款 支付等方面，为葛某谋取利益，为此，葛某支付其调任至乌市购买住宅的部分购房款107.05万元、房屋装修款及购买家具、健身器材款52.0284万元、 操办并支付其儿子婚礼各项费用16.809万元、购买照相机3.924万元，共计收受葛某179.8万余元。

　　2000年至2005年，赵新尉利用其担任中共喀什地区疏附县委书记的职务便利，为疏附县棉麻公司经理杨某在棉花收购等方面谋取利益，先后在儿子出国和结婚时，两次收受杨某现金共计12万元。

　　6月28日，法院审理认为，赵新尉身为国家工作人员，利用职务之便，为他人牟取利益，多次收受他人贿赂合计191.8万余元，数额巨大，其行为已构成受贿罪。

　　案件审理中，赵新尉对公诉机关指控的两起事实过程无异议，但其辩解称，他并没有利用职务便利为葛某和杨某谋取利益，与二人属朋友间的礼尚往来，自己行为不构成受贿罪。
