中国第七次北极科考11日出征 128人将历时78天
新华网上海7月8日消息，记者从当天召开的中国极地研究中心新闻通气会上获悉，7月11日，在2016年“中国航海日”到来之际，中国第七次北极科学考察队将乘坐“雪龙”号极地科考船从上海起航，出征北极。
国家海洋局极地考察办公室副主任夏立民在中国极地研究中心召开的新闻通气会上介绍，中国第七次北极科学考察是我国“南北极环境综合考察和评估”专项中的第三个航次。考察队共128人，计划在北极太平洋扇区的我国传统考察区域，进行北冰洋海洋水文与气象、海洋化学、海洋生物与生态、海洋地质、海洋地球物理、海冰动力学、热力学等多学科综合考察。历时78天，预计总航程10000多海里，计划9月26日返回上海。
在为期两个多月的考察期间，考察队将在白令海、白令海峡、楚科奇海、楚科奇海台、门捷列夫海脊、加拿大海盆和北冰洋高纬海区，计划设置82个多学科综合观测站位、30个备选站位、2个锚定潜标长期观测站位、1个锚定浮标长期观测站位、2个沉积物捕获器回收与投放站位。同时还计划在北冰洋的浮冰上，设立6个短期“冰站”、1个长期“冰站”进行多学科冰上考察。
我国是北半球最大的发展中国家，北极地区气候环境的变化过程深刻影响着我国气候与环境的变化，直接关系到我国的工农业生产和人民生活，开展北极科学考察对促进我国的可持续发展具有重要意义。
自1999年开展首次北极科学考察以来，我国迄今已开展了6次。17年来，我国科考工作者对北极海冰、海洋和大气变化进行了系统观测，深入研究北极海洋环境快速变化与我国气候的关系，取得多项重要科研成果，科学揭示了北极海冰消退与中纬度国家气候变化之间的关系。
目前，北极对全球气候变化的响应已引起全球科学家的共同关注。在中国第七次北极科学考察期间，我国还邀请了来自美国、法国的科学家一起登上“雪龙”号，共同探索研究北极地区气候环境变化的“蛛丝马迹”。
