Based on satellite remote sensing monitoring of water in Poyang Lake, July 7 in Poyang Lake and its adjoining waters 3966 square kilometres, on June 5 this year, water area monitoring (3559 square kilometres) increased 407 square kilometers, than in the same period (average of 3287 km) 679 square kilometers.

　　7月8日，中国江西网记者从江西省气象台获悉，自2016年7月1日至2016年7月6日，全省降水平均为70.2毫米，较历史同期(44.6毫米)偏多6成。受近期强降雨和长江江水倒灌双重影响，鄱阳湖水面明显增大。

　　根据卫星对鄱阳湖水面的遥感监测，7月7日鄱阳湖主体及附近水域面积为3966平方公里，较今年6月5日监测的水域面积(3559平方公里)增大407平方公里，比历史同期(平均为3287平方公里)偏大679平方公里。
