据了解，这8艘船只是6月底7月初在苏州市吴中区金庭镇的江苏省太湖强制隔离戒毒所码头被发现的，船上装载了来自上海市非法收运的混合垃圾，被苏州市海事部门扣留。
近日，苏州市市容市政局牵头，会同公安、海事、气象等部门及金庭镇，制定了详细的移送方案，由城管、公安、海事派专人对船只进行押送，于8日17时许从戒毒所码头出发，经太湖走胥口船闸，在京杭运河稍作休整后，经苏申外港、内港线，于9日11时左右到达三江口，同上海市绿化市容局、海事局相关人员进行了交接。
