李磊 四川人，刚满22岁
牺牲的战士李磊，是四川成都蒲江县人，2012年入伍英雄部队——第20集团军杨根思生前所在部队。
李磊战友，参与2011年苏丹维和任务的徐元锋告诉记者，“李磊刚满22岁，非常年轻，我们非常痛惜。此次他们执行的任务是保护联合国工作人员，而我们此前去主要是从事铺路架桥等工作，是被保护对象，所以他们的任务更危险。”
杨树朋 曾参加《真正男子汉》
据悉，杨树朋曾在《真正男子汉》（由八一电影制片厂和湖南卫视联合制作的大型国防教育特别节目）杨根思连中出镜。

南苏丹为什么这么乱？！
南苏丹于2011年7月9日宣布独立，成为非洲大陆第54个国家，也是世界上最年轻的国家。这个位于东非内陆、面积接近62万平方公里、人口约1200万的国家，被认为是世界上最贫穷的国家之一。从独立伊始，南苏丹国内就不断发生规模不等的部落冲突，不得安宁，国家建设一直难以进入议事日程。
反对派和政府长期争斗

100多个部族内乱不断
