安徽阜阳市公安局长辞退民警被打伤
法制网7月13日讯（记者 李光明）近日，阜阳市委常委、政法委书记、公安局长刘立兵步行上班途中遭受突然袭击受伤，引发社会关注。今天，记者从有关部门了解到，刘立兵被袭受伤系因原临泉县公安局违法违纪被辞退民警李汉臣报复所为。目前，犯罪嫌疑人李汉臣已被颍州区公安机关依法刑事拘留。此案发生后，安徽省公安厅督察总队立即赶赴阜阳开展工作，监督当地公安机关依法公正办理此案，并坚决维护民警合法权益。

遭突袭受伤的刘立兵曾长期在安徽省公安系统工作，先后多次荣立个人一、二、三等功。在担任省公安厅“打黑队”队长期间，“打黑队”被中国国务院授予全国唯一的“打黑尖兵”荣誉称号。2013年6月到阜阳工作后，刘立兵带领全市公安民警致力平安建设，三年来破获各类刑事案件2.6万起，“盗抢骗”“黄赌毒”“黑拐枪”警情年均分别下降19.4%、14.1%、31.3%；推进简政放权、优化服务改革，得到全市群众认可，群众安全感和对公安工作满意度从2013年的87.82%、84.21%分别提高到2015年的91.95、85.27%，连续三年递增；狠抓队伍建设，践行“严管是大爱、放任是大害”的管理理念，铁腕纠治不正之风，公安队伍健康指数显著提升。民警谭向阳说：“刘局长严谨、务实、廉洁，这些年他狠抓业务工作和队伍建设，公安局的政风行风评议位次连年提升，我们每个民警都感到很光荣！”民警邹立涛对刘立兵局长发挥表率作用抓队伍建设印象深刻：“要求民警做到的，他首先做到。比如公务用车改革后，他就坚持骑自行车或步行上下班；在查处民警违法违纪问题上，他坚持原则，我们都很尊重他”。
