报告显示,截至2016年6月,微博月活跃用户数(MAU)达3.12亿,同比增长66.2%,在国内App中排名第七,较去年同期提升两个排名

在此前的微博第一季度财报中就提到,今年3月,微博的移动端日均活跃用户数(DAU)同比增长45%,移动用户在日活跃用户数的占比达到91%,这凸显了微博源自移动端高使用量和拓展一级城市之外市场的流量增长势头。

微博CEO王高飞在分析师电话会议上指出,第一季度微博在一线城市的人口渗透率达到了50%以上,同比增幅大约为10%;但在二、三、四线城市,微博的渗透率仅在20%至30%,还有很大的提升空间。预计在未来2-3年内,微博在二、三线城市的用户渗透率将会接近一线城市的水平。

近年来,微博加快了从实时信息网络向社交兴趣网络转型的速度,更多地向基于兴趣的垂直细分领域扩张,旅游、电影、汽车、电视、美食等,并取得突破性进展。

今年第一季度,微博垂直化战略取得阶段性成效,明星,动漫,时尚,电影,财经等12个行业的单月阅读量已经超过100亿,重心从内容生态的建设转向行业生态的建设。这种变化带来的就是用户下沉和年轻化,三四线城市的微博用户和年轻用户的规模增幅明显。以网红为例,目前已经成长起一批以微博为主要社交平台和流量入口的网络红人,这部分用户的活跃度和内容质量都较高,与粉丝互动密切,也是微博商业产品的重度用户。

上半年,微博股价持续上涨屡创新高,7月7日股价首次突破30美元,较2月份最低点增长1.5倍。截至7月12日美股收盘,微博股价已达32.56美元,市值突破70亿美元。
