　　法晚深度即时 今日下午，法晚记者从中国最高人民检察院了解到，7月11日，湖南省郴州市宜章县检察院对“6.26”事故交通肇事司机刘某以涉嫌交通肇事罪依法批准逮捕。

　　据了解，2016年6月26日上午10时21分许，刘某驾驶湘D94396号大型普通客车由北往南行驶至宜凤高速公路（S31）33公里路段时，因过度疲劳，导致车辆与护栏相撞后起火，造成35人死亡，15人受伤的重特大事故。6月27日，刘某被公安机关依法刑事拘留。

　　案发后，湖南省郴州市宜章县检察院侦查监督部门依法提前介入此案。在公安机关对刘某依法提请批准逮捕后，侦查监督部门又加班加点及时审查核实证据，对犯罪嫌疑人刘某以涉嫌交通肇事罪依法作出批准逮捕决定。
