　　12日下午4时左右，在菲律宾单方面南海仲裁案结果出炉前，中国国防部新闻发言人杨宇军以答记者问的形式对外表示，7月5-11日在南海进行的大规模军事演习是一场例行性安排。但杨宇军也提及，此次演习是为打赢信息化海上局部战争进行的实兵检验性训练;并声明，中国军队将坚定不移捍卫国家主权、安全和海洋权益，坚决维护地区和平稳定，应对各种威胁挑战。而中国军方媒体为杨宇军这段对外声明所配视频画面是南海演习中的中国先进战舰、战机、潜艇以及导弹射击的震撼画面。

　　除了中国国防部的对外声明，中国军方当天还有两个引人关注的动作。7月12日，中国最先进的052D型导弹驱逐舰银川舰在三亚某军港入列南海舰队，为王牌部队再添“猎枪”。南海舰队位处南海海域最前沿，在南海海域保持常年战备化巡逻任务。截至目前，已经入列的4艘052D型导弹驱逐舰昆明舰、长沙舰、合肥舰以及银川舰全部部署在该舰队。有分析认为，这是出于对该舰队在南海海域担负重大职责使命的考虑。052D型导弹驱逐舰是中国海军现役最先进导弹驱逐舰，装备多型自主研发的新型武器装备，信息化程度高，隐身性能好，可单独或协同海军其他兵力攻击敌水面舰艇、潜艇，具有较强的防空、反潜和对海作战能力。

　　新型驱逐舰入列的同一天，中国新一代远洋航天测量船远望七号船正式入列中国卫星海上测控部。远望七号船是我国自主设计研制、具有国际先进水平的大型航天远洋测量船。远望七号的入列体现了中国军工的快速发展和重大突破。军事专家李杰13日对《环球时报》记者表示，除了担负航天远洋测控任务，远望七号还能对岸基导弹以及战略核潜艇导弹弹着点进行观测和打捞。
