当地时间7月14日16时许，乌干达坎帕拉联合国三级医院一层的抢救室外，和中国军队工作组一起焦急等待的记者，脑海中不由得闪现出这句话。
抢救室内，中国医疗专家和当地医务人员，正在救治我赴南苏丹维和步兵营重伤员陈英。大约40分钟后，医生通知大家：病人情况稳定，目前已无生命危险。
此时此刻，我们悬着的心，总算稍稍放了下来。
7月10日，我赴南苏丹维和步兵营一辆装甲车被炮弹击中，李磊、杨树朋两名战士牺牲，霍亚会、陈英重伤，姚道祥、吴乐、宋晓辉轻伤。陈英是最后一名脱离生命危险的伤员。
从7月10日18时39分遇袭事件发生，到7月14日16时40分最后一名伤员转危为安的94个小时，中国军队、中国外交部多个部门通力协作，倾尽全力，上演了一场现实版的“生死时速”。
7月10日遇袭事件发生后，配置在难民营内部救护车上的军医第一时间赶赴现场救治伤员。
当时，交火异常激烈，不时有炮弹在附近爆炸，流弹从头顶飞过。5分钟内，另2辆野战救护车陆续赶到事发地，将伤员急速送往联合国UN House一级医院。与此同时，我维和步兵营迅速进入应急状态，加强防御部署，最大限度保证我人员安全。
19时03分，伤员送达。医务人员采用人工辅助呼吸、心肺复苏、手术等多种方式对7名伤员展开抢救。然而，李磊、杨树朋两位烈士终因伤势过重不幸牺牲。尽管心中悲痛万分，但我维和部队军医含着泪水，继续救治其他几名伤员。
遇袭事件发生后的第一时间，军委联合作战指挥中心相关值班部位迅即进入应急状态，连续跟踪情况，实时指导部队组织应急行动全力抢救伤员，通知空军做好派遣运输机前往南苏丹的相关准备，并立即研究中国军队工作组组建和前出方案。
按照军委首长指示和军委联合参谋部首长要求，中国国防部维和事务办公室会同联参作战局，迅速细化方案、拟制计划，协调军地各方力量，做好工作组前出准备。积极协调联合国维和部、联南苏团相关部门及我驻南苏丹大使馆，全力抢救伤员。
7月10日晚，我中国外交部、驻南苏丹大使馆也迅速启动应急机制。中国军队工作组成员、中国外交部国际司参赞孙晓波透露，事发后中国常驻联合国副代表吴海涛大使紧急约见联合国主管维和事务的副秘书长苏和，要求联合国在伤员救治和善后问题上全力支持，并采取切实措施，保障我赴南苏丹维和人员安全。
武装冲突导致南苏丹朱巴地区的地面和空中交通中断，伤员暂时无法后送到条件更好的医院。11日凌晨3时，军队各相关单位一体联动，迅速组织中国维和步兵营同国内军队医疗专家开展远程会诊。
获悉联合国UN House一级医院缺少药品，我驻南苏丹使馆武官林伟，根据使馆党委和大使马强指示，带领中国援助南苏丹医疗队两名医生，携急缺医药物资火速驰援。
11日13时50分，林伟一行赶到联合国UN House营区北门外。当时武装派别正在交火，北门紧闭，不时有流弹打在门上。负责接应的我维和步兵营三连官兵赶到门口后，立即进行喊话劝离、鸣枪示警、步战车车载并列机枪射击掩护，连长彭参军带领几名战士冒着危险快速打开大门，将林伟一行护送至UN House一级医院。
经过救治，轻伤员宋晓辉已无大碍，主动要求返回战位。而其他4名伤员仍需后送。而此时，当地武装激战正酣，联合国营区外的枪炮声不绝于耳。
幸运的是，在我驻南苏丹大使馆和联南苏团副司令杨超英等人的反复协调下，南苏丹政府同意打通一条安全通道，并提供武装护卫，护送伤员前往位于朱巴机场附近的联合国二级医院。
从联合国UN House营区到二级医院，距离大概20公里，平时需要大概30分钟车程。可这一次，由于路上多次遇到交火，还要经过十几个检查站，车队足足走了一个半小时。
联合国二级医院对4名伤员诊断检查后，作出结论：需进一步后送至位于乌干达坎帕拉的联合国三级医院。
这谈何容易？之前协调南苏丹政府打开地面通道，就已想尽办法、磨破了嘴皮，这一次还要协调飞机、打开空中通道，难度可想而知。
“为了同胞的生命、为了战友的安危，我们不惜一切代价。”和好几位奋战一线同志的对话中，他们都对记者道出了这句话。
7月13日，通过多方不懈努力，一架德国军用运输机搭载霍亚会、姚道祥、吴乐3名伤员前往乌干达，而陈英伤情不稳，需要进一步观察救治后转运。
当天13时许，运送3名伤员的飞机安全降落在乌干达恩德培机场。与此同时，中国军队工作组乘坐的空军飞机从西郊机场呼啸而起。
“快一点，再快一点，前方的战友在等着我们。”这是工作组全体人员的共同心声。
飞机刚刚转入平飞，工作组组长、中国国防部维和事务办公室代主任苏广辉就迫不及待地来到后舱，检查为接运伤员准备的担架和其他物资。
一路上，在机舱、在地面，苏广辉多次召集不同形式的工作会议，研究部署看望慰问伤员、接运烈士遗体、指导维和营加强安全防卫等各项事宜。
经过18个小时的飞行后，飞机于当地时间7月14日7时许，降落在乌干达恩德培机场。
“从北京到恩德培，飞越9个国家，经停加油3次，全程14000公里。我们预计至少要20多个小时，没想到18个小时就到了，以前从来没这样快过。”在恩德培机场，机组成员、空军参谋部作战局副局长徐涛感慨道。他说，决定我们速度的因素不仅是飞行本身，还有一路的航线许可以及经停机场的保障效率等，如果没有军地的共同努力，18个小时的速度不可能实现。
这让记者想起了孙晓波多次提及的一句话：“这次任务，中国外交部和军队是一个整体，不分彼此。”
让记者感到意外的是，在恩德培还见到几位来自我驻其他国家的武官。经了解，工作组出发前，我驻埃及、以色列、南非、伊朗及科特迪瓦等5国武官处的人员奉命前往乌干达待命，协助开展工作。
14日下午，联合国安排飞机将陈英送到乌干达恩德培机场。此前，为了将伤员从机场安全顺利地送达联合国三级医院，我驻乌干达大使赵亚力和使馆人员做了大量工作。不仅如此，他们为了工作组的到来和展开，还付出了很多努力。
从恩德培机场到坎帕拉联合国三级医院大约50公里，只有一条两车道的路，且车流量极大，拥堵程度可参照北京晚早高峰的二环路。由乌干达警车开道，车队一路疾驰，不到50分钟就到了联合国三级医院。
陈英被推进抢救室后，记者在门口遇到了好几名当地中资企业人员。
“得到伤员被送来的消息后，我们立刻就赶了过来。除了水果、营养品，我们还为伤员准备了几台手机，便于他们和家人联系，调整心情，同时我们安排人员值班，轮流看护……”中国长江三峡集团公司乌干达伊辛巴水电站项目部总经理助理赵小超说：“军人为国效力，有人牺牲和受伤，尽一份绵薄之力是中资企业的责任也是同胞手足之情使然。”
在联合国三级医院3楼319病房，记者看到了姚道祥、吴乐两位伤员。
“我现在感觉好多了，最想的事就是回到任务区，继续完成任务。”话语中，吴乐回部队的急切心情溢于言表。
“感谢党中央、中央军委和习主席，请祖国、亲人放心，中国军人最坚强！”病床上，姚道祥神情坚定地说。最近几天，姚道祥的爱人就要分娩，记者问他想和爱人说点什么，姚道祥答道：“宝宝妈妈，我在这里很好，别担心！”
走出病房，回到抢救室，好消息传来——陈英目前没有生命危险！
入夜，记者随工作组人员乘车返回恩德培。没有了警车开道，我们将近3个小时才到。
