Facebook周三对外宣布，Facebook Messenger用户规模已于日前突破10亿人。这标志着，Facebook一家已经拥有两款月活跃用户超过十亿人的手机聊天工具。

据了解，WhatsApp是目前的全球手机聊天霸主，其在全球一百多个国家是主导型聊天工具，而Facebook Messenger紧随其后，目前在全世界五十多个国家是主导性的聊天工具。

除了WhatsApp和Messenger之外，目前Facebook客户端的活跃用户接近15亿人，三个产品35亿人的用户规模，使得Facebook坐稳全球移动社交霸主的位置。

在全球手机聊天市场，影响力仅次于WhatsApp、Messenger的产品还有Viber（十个国家主导的聊天工具）、日本和东亚地区流行的Line、中国微信、韩国KakaoTalk、Telegram等。
