除了关注跨界领域,马化腾在演讲给创业者的另外两点建议是,要学会找到好的合作伙伴,要多利用全球的平台。

尊敬的董建华主席、张晓明主任,以及在座的各位朋友,大家下午好:

我非常荣幸能够出席以及担任香港X科技创业平台的荣誉主席。

在几个月前,沈南鹏找我说有这样一个构想,李泽湘教授希望能够发起香港一个创新创意的平台。大家知道,他的红杉中国在海外有很多投资,他主导的红杉中国可以说是中国风险投资界最成功的投资人。媒体界给他一个称号,说他买下了中国互联网的一半。我们腾讯过去也投了数百亿美元的投资,基本上每一个项目都会看到沈南鹏的团队已经在一两年前已经进去了。所以他的眼光非常独到,也非常的好,所以我觉得他提的建议也是比较靠谱的。

李泽湘教授在沈南鹏教授介绍后,我详细了解到,他和他的弟子汪涛在港科大出来创业然后在深圳发展起来一个新的科技企业——大疆科技,是目前占全球无人机市场90%份额的企业。我觉得这是一个奇迹,也从来没有一个来自中国的企业能够占到全球的九成以上。我觉得这是一个从无到有的创新过程。以前根本就没有这个市场,那么这个过程是一个非常典型的,也是我近年来看到的最成功的产学研合作并且结出硕果的一个最好的典范。大疆科技现在市值已经超过100亿美元,也就是一个超级独角兽。我前几天带了一个国内同学会的团队,也去参观大疆。他们最新的科产品经能够成功规避视觉的障碍,并有下一代产品。我期待他们的产品能够继续占领世界,有更多的发展。

所以在这个背景下,李教授也跟我说,能不能在香港各个大学的很多领域,除了智能控制,电子以外,还有很多新材料,计算机大数据,甚至医药,生物科技,还有材料学等等领域,有很多国际人才和成果,能不能把这种模式再推广继续扩大呢?其实很有机会,但是过去没有太过关注这一点。沈南鹏也跟我说,腾讯在香港土生土长,已经上市12年。我本人在中国互联网之前,也就是1996年之前的一两年,我是通过我原来工作的公司,很有幸接触了互联网,才结下了这个种子。在这么多年的发展过程中,腾讯也有幸在香港茁壮成长,目前成为香港最大的科技股;从市值的角度来说,腾讯也是亚洲最大的。我想我们18年的创业经验是可以和香港X创业平台结合以及分享的。所以我也很高兴能够加入这个团队,希望可以贡献我们团队的力量。

在这里,我也想提几个建议。香港有很多优势。香港的高校在全球,在亚洲排名都在前几名,有大量国际人才,也背靠中国庞大的市场,但是在科技创新方面,总是觉得差那么一点。为什么会这样?我想可能有几个原因。第一,希望政府在政策方面的扶持力度还是要加大。刚才我听特首说这个月有3个亿的创业基金获批,上个礼拜又批了20个亿。这是一个非常好的迹象。从我的经验,深圳其实在十多年前已经十分关注。当时我们其实也没有拿到投资,后来深圳建立了一个高交会,我们在这个舞台上才第一次拿到了风险投资。当时的风险投资全部只到北京,根本不到深圳,所以我觉得政府搭台是非常重要的,否则这个生态形成不了。

在高校方面,大家看到以港科大为代表的一批的香港高校里面有很多好的政策。如果教授有很多研发成果,他能不能带他的弟子创立公司,能不能占有股份。其实这是一个比较敏感的话题,我了解到有的高校是比较开明的,有的是有点敏感,讲不清楚。因为可能会担心是不是会不务正业,会不会不平衡等等。在内地,其实很多学校也是蛮复杂,有很多问题,需要一些明朗的政策支持,可能下面做事情才会更加清晰。正是这次我们看到产学研的成果,我们看到李教授带出来的团队,正是得益于港科大比较清晰的政策,比较鼓励创新。所以我呼吁大家要算大账,不要算小账,不要在乎个人内部是不是不平衡,要看整体创新氛围能不能够激励大家创新。我觉得做好这个政策是对未来发展非常重要的。

还有一点,是资本方面。大家知道,我们作为企业也好,还是沈南鹏作为风险投资私募资金也好,他们在投资的时候往往会看很多因素,团队也好,政策也好,市场也好,我们比较关注成功概率大不大。所以我们希望看到地区的创业环境能够形成一环,我们感觉成功概率会差不多。这里面需要政策,需要高校,需要人才的支持和配合,资本才会敢”下注”。所以今天也很高兴看到特首说批了二十多亿,我觉得这样大家“下注”才会更有信心。这个氛围是要大家烘托起来的,只有这样才能一步步形成一个良性循环。

对于团队,我也有一些个人的建议。比如,一些创业团队怎么利用好我们的香港X创业平台。也就是说,如果通过这个平台用好我们的导师,好的项目需要导师review,然后客观的判断,有些项目他们个人可能要投资,这样他才会有代入感,他会更加的积极,会给出真的很好的建议。能不能通过这个平台找到好的合作伙伴,因为单打独斗是非常难的,我们腾讯过去也是有五个创业者一起做,互相互补才有可能成功。我们也可以看到在这个平台上还可以找到很多资本,成为资本对接的平台。

第二个给创业者的建议就是,关注跨界的部分。因为一个产业已经做得很久,已经是一片红海,我们现在看到用新技术在两个产业跨界部分往往是最有机会诞生创新的机会,那可能是一片蓝海。腾讯的历史也是这样,当年做通信的没有我懂互联网,做互联网的没有我懂通信,所以我做起了当时的QQ,包括现在的微信。这就是抓到了一个跨界的点。大疆也是,它是无人机,也是flying camera,这两者本来是不同的,本来一个是航模一个是摄影,但是大疆把它们结合在了一起,一下打造了一个市场。我们现在看到金融科技,还有生物科技,还有很多材料,包括机器人,这里都融合了很多学科,跨平台,跨产业的融合机会。我觉得大家应多关注融合跨界的部分。

最后一点,团队要多利用全球的平台。因为当今时代已经和我们创业那时候不一样了,我们当时什么都要自己做,现在已经有很多开放平台,全球有很好的云,社交网络,电商平台,国内也有腾讯的一些基础设施提供这些服务。创业者要专注解决生活中如何提高效率,以及如果解决“痛点”,把精力聚焦在这一点,其它的东西可以利用平台来帮你。比如前不久我们组合的一个财团,收购了芬兰的最大的一间手机游戏公司,用86亿收购了其80%的股份,也就是估值超过了100亿美元,这是一个仅仅180人的公司。这个在过去是不可能的事情,大家要知道芬兰才500多万人,比香港还少,为何能诞生如此大的科技企业?正是因为他们运用了全球的云技术,以及服务外包,让他们可以专心集中于最核心的创意部分,我们今天才看到了他们的成功。

以上是我的一些建议。香港过去一直在不断地转型,从制造业,再到外贸,再到金融。我相信未来,科技产业是香港转型的必经之路,我也预祝我们的平台成立能够打开这扇门,也希望政府多多支持多多帮助,把预算不断的提升,谢谢!
