龚雪辉的大儿子杨君对前街一号（微信号：qianjieyihao）记者表示，强拆发生在6月16日早上。当天早上8点多，当地拆迁办工作人员及村干部带着数百人将他家围了起来。家属介绍，当时龚雪辉也在房内，多名家人被强拆者从屋内强行拖拽出去，抓进两辆不同的面包车。在此过程中，大儿媳问抓他的人其妈妈在哪里，“他们说他们也不知道，应该在别的车里，因为当时都被控制了，就以为她在其他车里”。直至房屋被强拆完毕，家人才被放出来，之后发现龚雪辉不见了。

曾试图挖掘寻人被阻拦
杨君称，他们怀疑强拆发生时龚雪辉被埋在废墟之下，曾于6月16日之后的两天内找来挖掘机，试图清理现场废墟，但挖掘机刚工作不到半个小时就不干了，“挖掘机司机接到一个电话，之后说他不知道我们的事涉及强拆，不干了”。
据了解，此后家人始终未放弃寻找龚雪辉，还曾张贴寻人启事，贴出龚雪辉的照片，称其在“6月16日早上家里因政府强制拆迁失踪，至今杳无音询”。
寻找多日无果，龚雪辉家人为防止挖掘工作再被干扰，于7月6日晚从外地叫来挖掘机到拆迁现场，于7月7日早7点左右开始清理废墟，8点多发现了一具遗体。经家人辨认，该遗体为龚雪辉本人。
家人随后报警，警方不久赶到现场，随后赶来的法医也开始对遗体进行尸检。龚雪辉的儿子杨君称，龚雪辉的遗体已于7月7日中午被警方运走，“说是为了进一步尸检”。在此过程中，家属一度与当地官方人员发生冲突，照片显示，杨君双臂及双腿有划伤。
强拆被指无法律手续
据龚雪辉的家属介绍，他们全家10口人住在1300余平米的三层房屋内。杨君称，春节之后村里就开始谈拆迁事宜，“说是要在我们这里建居民安置项目”。
杨君称，“不是我们不同意（拆迁），强拆头天晚上他们才到我们家谈了一下，第二天一早就把我们家的房子强拆了，什么法律手续都没拿过来，来的人看起来还有社会上的，也有村里、拆迁办、镇上的一些领导”。
龚雪辉的亲属介绍，按照合同，他们将拿到280万的拆迁补偿，但全家对这份拆迁补偿方案并不满意。强拆前一晚，村干部和拆迁办人员到他们家要求他们签订合同，“他们说如果不签，第二天他们就要采取行动，没说具体采取什么行动，应该就是指第二天的强拆”。
