虽然“抄袭”这样的字眼在游戏这个创意产业里听起来格外刺耳,虽然在现场保安的协调之下聚集人群很快得以疏散,但或许对于腾讯来说,这样的非议与被围观早就习以为常。

抄袭:腾讯挥之不去的一抹阴影

根据这几名黑衣男子在现场派发的内容显示,他们是MOBA手游《自由之战》的研发团队DW。来自媒体的报道详细地说明了事件的来龙去脉——这个34人的团队用一年多的时间开发出拥有“全球专利”的创新系统“双轮盘+锁定”,就在他们即将“实现国人手机MOBA梦想”的时候,旗下产品《自由之战》惨遭腾讯《王者荣耀》“恶意抄袭”,于是才有了前述的一幕。根据《第一财经》的报道,腾讯对此的态度是“这种事情不是拉个条幅就算数的”。

腾讯的回应其实并不令人意外,这个如今已经渗透到互联网各个领域的巨头企业,早就习惯了在骂声中前进,腾讯旗下的不少产品也或多或少地带有别家产品的“影子”。

腾讯最初试水游戏的产品“QQ游戏大厅”就被指责抄袭当时的棋牌游戏老大联众平台;在随后端游火爆的时代,腾讯旗下的成功产品也都有着可以比对的成功先例,比如《QQ飞车》与《跑跑卡丁车》、《QQ炫舞》与《劲舞团》等。而《QQ西游》、《QQ仙侠》等产品,则更是从产品名称上就与当时的火爆游戏贴近,直接分流来了不少“不明真相”的用户。

虽然随着QQ平台与游戏产品的联动程度日渐加深,腾讯在端游时代的后期逐步依靠流量优势取得了市场优势,但不少玩家都对腾讯的做法有所非议。

进入手游时代后,腾讯依然是争议缠身。仅在去年一年,腾讯就有三款手游被指为“抄袭”。

除了前文提到的与《自由之战》的纠葛外,腾讯旗下的《天天传奇》被指人物形象与《剑灵》雷同,这款游戏还直接使用了《刺客信条》、《战神》等经典游戏中的著名人物形象。

日本著名游戏制作人神谷英树的代表作《猎天使魔女》中贝姐的人物形象,也被腾讯直接用在了《魔龙与勇士》中。有意思的是一位热心的国内玩家在推特上踢爆了此事并@了神谷英树,但换来的只是一句淡定的回应“哦”,或许大名鼎鼎的神谷英树也知道,在中国维权并不是一件容易的事吧。

根据Newzoo数据显示,早在2014年腾讯就压倒了微软、索尼、EA等巨头,成为了全球最大的游戏公司。但与企业的快速成长成鲜明对照的,却是大量涉嫌抄袭的产品带来的负口碑的不断扩散。从这个意义上讲,腾讯或许是最赚钱的游戏公司,但却难言伟大。

当然,在涉嫌抄袭这个问题上腾讯也算不得个例,毕竟在当下的大环境里仍然有不少产品涉嫌抄袭,基本上国外的“爆款”都可以在国内看到“高仿”。近期火爆的《守望先锋》就被中国国产手游《泰坦传奇》从界面、技能、英雄形象等方面模仿,还曾有海外媒体专门撰文批评《泰坦传奇》。而《炉石传说》则更是悲催,上线初期就曾遭《卧龙传奇》“高仿”,两年后又被《召唤师对决》COPY,真是人红是非多。

游戏人的事,能算偷么?

鲁迅笔下的孔乙己曾经说过一句名言:“窃书!读书人的事,能算偷么”。而在游戏行业,也曾有过一段“窃游戏不算偷的时光”。只不过那是在游戏行业的发展初期,限于机能和市场条件,各家公司只能在有限的品类下进行竞争。

比如在FC红白机时代,横版动作游戏如过江之鲫,其中难免有雷同者鱼目混珠,也出现了不少公司专以模仿市场热点为主要市场方向。只是大浪淘沙,这些产品和公司无一不是消失在了游戏史那不算长的长河之中。

而随着游戏主机性能的提升,动作游戏也开始了积极的进化,各个IP也在寻找最适合自己的差异化路线。比如《生化危机》偏重动作解谜、《潜龙谍影》主推特工潜入、《恶魔城》主打历史奇幻路线等。

虽然这些游戏都遵循动作游戏的基本规则,但各自的世界观与核心玩法大相径庭,也各自培养了一批忠实的玩家群体。到如今,这些IP都已成为全球玩家公认的金字招牌,出品公司也都成了明星企业,在游戏界拥有举足轻重的地位。

如果孔乙己偷书不是为了学习那些迂腐而奇怪的知识——比如茴字有几种写法——而是在前人的基础上创造出更多新的观点,那么窃书尚可不算偷,比对国内游戏行业也如是。中国游戏行业起步就比发达国家要晚,在发展的过程中有一些模仿、借鉴的行为本无可厚非,但是如果只有简单粗暴充满功利性的单纯抄袭,那注定是没有出路的。

遗憾的是,目前市场上注重创新的团队仍然寥寥无几,创新产品也是少得可怜。作为占据市场半壁江山的巨头企业,坐拥QQ+微信数亿用户的腾讯本应在这方面有所表率,但就目前来看情况仍难言乐观。

庞大的流量与用户行为数据反而给腾讯提供了极低的试错成本,这使得更多缺乏诚意的产品得以充斥市场。虽然腾讯已经与海外著名的游戏厂商SUPERCELL和Riot Games进行了资本合作,并在腾讯开放平台大力推行开发者扶植计划,但目前看来成果有限,还需要时间加以验证。

根据游戏工委近日发布的《2016年1-6月中国游戏产业报告》数据显示,截至6月底中国移动游戏市场的收入达到了374.8亿人民币,同比增长了79.1%。占据了中国游戏行业总收入的47%。骄人成绩的背后,是用户增速已经连续三年放缓。《报告》也称,新增用户变少、用户的付费挖掘潜力也将进入瓶颈,市场未来增长难度将有所上升。在这样的一个分支节点,中国国产手游更加需要在创新性上有所突破,以寻求市场突破。

前文中愤怒的《自由之战》团队提到了“手游创新已死”,或许是受极端情绪的影响措辞有些夸张,但亦与事实出入不大。如何拯救奄奄一息的手游创新应该是未来全行业关注的焦点,我们也希望能够有更多更好的创新手游问世,不然如果创新真的死了,那手游行业亦不久矣。
