中方放弃斯里兰卡项目索赔 多换回2公顷土地
据英国路透社8月2日报道，斯里兰卡政府2日宣布，中国交通建设股份公司放弃针对该国科伦坡港口城延期建设而要求的索赔款项。作为补偿，中国企业将获得额外建设用地。至此，在港口城项目已完成填海的土地中，中方将至少占有110公顷。
去年3月，斯里兰卡新任总统西里塞纳以危害国家利益为由，暂停前总统拉贾帕克萨与中国签订的科伦坡港口城建设工程。随后，中方评估，工程搁置造成每天高达38万美元的损失，因此向斯里兰卡政府提出约1.4亿美元的赔偿要求。

对此，中国外交部发言人陆慷曾表示，任何两个国家，包括友好国家之间，通过商业运行方式开展合作肯定有商业规律在里面，即使中间出现了一些不同看法，也并不影响中斯总体友好关系以及双方推进、深化这一友好关系的决心。
