Size of 710 million Chinese Internet users, mobile Internet reached 656 million Internet users-IT information

The report shows that as of June 2016, the size of China's Internet users reached 710 million, 21.32 million new Internet users in the first half, and rate of 3.1%. Internet penetration rate reached 51.7%, more than the global average of 3.1%.
In addition, by June 2016, total domain names in China has reached 36.98 million, while China's national domain name. " CN "registered capacity of 19.5 million (52.7% per cent of China's total number of domain names), the annual growth rate of 19.2%, most registered top-level domain names for China, while second place." COM "registrations 10.93 million, accounting for 29.6% of the total number of domain names in China.

8月3日上午，中国互联网络信息中心（CNNIC）在京发布第38次《中国互联网络发展状况统计报告》，报告统计了中国互联网发展普及程度的最新情况，其中不乏很多有价值的数据信息。
《报告》显示，截至2016年6月，中国网民规模达7.10亿，其中上半年新增网民2132万人，增长率为3.1%。互联网普及率达到51.7%，超过全球平均水平3.1个百分点。
另外，截止2016年6月，中国域名总量达到了3698万个，同时中国国家域名“.CN”注册量达到1950万个(占中国域名总数的52.7%)，年增长率达到19.2%，为中国注册量最多的顶级域名，而第二名“.COM”注册量1093万个，占中国域名总数的29.6%。
截至2016年6月，我国手机网民规模达6.56亿（手机上网和宽带上网等方式存在重叠），网民中使用手机上网的人群占比由2015年底的90.1%提升至92.5%，仅通过手机上网的网民占比达到24.5%。这说明目前移动设备越来越成为主要的上网工具之一。
互联网普及率方面，截至2016年6月，中国城镇互联网普及率达到67.2%，乡村互联网普及率达到31.7%，在乡村中，68.0%的农村非网民因为“不懂电脑/网络”而不上网，10.9%的人认为“不需要/不感兴趣”。同时，网上支付、互联网理财用户规模增长率分别为9.3%和12.3%，互联网金融产业发展迅猛。
