“英雄”就是芜湖机器人热潮的产物，它诞生于该城市近郊的一个机器人创业园，整个研发生产周期还不到半年。该公园总投资达到了22亿人民币，下一阶段，当地政府还准备在创业园区内新建一家酒店，一个展览中心和一块文化广场。未来，当地政府还将通过“地方政府融资直通车”项目再拉来12亿人民币的资金，以吸引更多机器人公司来此设厂。
发展机器人技术其实无可厚非，但问题在于国内像芜湖这样大干快上，疯狂烧钱建造机器人创业园的中型城市可不在少数。而通过所谓“融资直通车”融资进行基础设施重复建设的城市，往往都背上了沉重的债务包袱。当潮头过去，留给这些城市的只有还不完的债和创业园内数不清的荒草。
去年，为了推动中国在机器人领域的发展，政府推出了《中国制造2025》行动纲领，由于缺乏统一指挥，各个城市为了政绩纷纷上马自己的机器人项目，大量资金涌入这一领域。其实明眼人已经可以看出，虽然市场对机器人自动化的需求仍在不断上升，但中国的机器人市场已经明显出现了产能过剩的趋势。
数据显示，去年中国对工业机器人的需求增长下跌了约三分之二，但与此同时，却有超过40个机器人创业园在全国各地兴建而成。今年6月，据《每日经济新闻》报道，工信部副部长辛国斌警告称，中国机器人产业已出现“高端产业低端化”的趋势，并有投资过剩的隐忧，机器人企业要避免盲目扩张和低水平重复建设。
强撑出来的增长早在上世纪90年代，“融资直通车”项目就在中国各地兴盛过，当时地方政府通过该方式绕过了各种金融监管，为城市建设和各种项目募集了大量资金。

“基础设施建设投资公司正在想尽办法敛财，”渤海信托的李元建说道，该公司也为许多无法从主流市场获得投资的公司提供了大量的高息贷款。
失去控制的“快车道”由于是社会主义国家，中国的金融体系相当松散，地方政府花掉了85%的预算，但却只能拿到50%的税收，因此它们不得不举债度日。

如果这只是民间资本的游戏，其实也无伤大雅，但关键这所谓的机器人中心城市根本就是地方政府精心设计的，它们认为中央政府会负责兜底，因此更加有恃无恐，但这根本就是在赌博。
“进驻产业园的所谓机器人创业公司其实根本就拿不到标准的信贷指标，它们在这里能拿到钱完全就是借了当地政府的支持，而地方政府则认为自己是中央政策的忠实执行者。”新加坡西方资产管理公司的杰鹏说道，他也是“融资直通车”的投资者之一。
对投资者来说，高企的回报率是他们加入“融资直通车”的主要原因之一，但资本的狂欢却引起了人们对新一轮投资浪费的担忧。此前，中国各地政府就将大量资金导入当地市政形象工程和创业中心的建设，导致大量设施荒废。
志气满满的“创业者”当然，现在我们还无法判断芜湖机器人创业园是否是个新骗局，但其扩张计划十分大胆，其工业机器人产能将从现在的年产1000台迅速提升至10000台。
不过，即使是获得了政府空前的支持，该园区能拿得出手的大企业依然屈指可数。园区内大多数企业都是新创公司，有的甚至是古老的装备公司，它们的产品依然是各种过时的农具。
开篇我们提到的机器人“英雄”就来自产业园中的Okayrobot公司，它们不但制作了机器人侍应生，还打造了包括空调头盔、卧式淋浴器和机械外骨骼等脑洞大开的产品。不过，唯一能让人眼前一亮的机械外骨骼产品，现在还停留在PPT阶段。
