棕榈股份在公告中称，公司出资3亿元参与设立的上海云邰投资管理中心通过投资云毅国凯（上海）体育发展有限公司（下称“云毅国凯”）收购英超西布罗姆维奇俱乐部控股公司。据了解，该控股公司持有西布罗姆维奇俱乐部大多数股权。

公告显示，此次收购的执行公司云毅国凯的注册资本为16.8亿元，这个数字或与支付收购俱乐部控股公司的最终对价接近。

据了解，领衔本次收购的是棕榈股份的第一大股东赖国传，在收购消息公布的第一时间，西布罗姆维奇俱乐部的官方网站刊登了赖国传给球迷的信息。
