美国旧金山光环神经科学公司宣布,目前已经有至少5名运动员使用了这种大脑激励技术,进行刺激训练,运动员在训练的时候戴上一种特制的头盔,内部电极可给大脑运动皮层输入1.5至2毫安的微弱电流,提升大脑适应训练的能力。

目前已知的5名使用这种技术的运动员包括:特立尼达和多巴哥共和国100米跨栏运动员迈克尔·托马斯;塞拉利昂100米短跑选手哈弗萨图·卡马拉;美国男子400米跨栏运动员迈克尔·汀斯利;美国4×100米接力运动员迈克·罗杰斯以及美国现代五项运动员萨曼莎·艾克特博格。

效果如何呢?其中托马斯表示使用了这种技术后,确实能够感觉运动更加流畅了,身体和大脑协调地更好,而卡马拉使用后直接破了自己的纪录。目前尚不知道这是不是只是心理作用。

让人纠结的是,目前世界反兴奋剂机构(WADA)还没有禁止这种技术,因为他们也无法确定这种技术到底有没有实际的效用。
