打三轮车的确实还没有,但是有打摩托车的“滴滴”,不过在印尼叫“Go-Jek”。

你可以不知道Go-Jek,但在印尼这可是最火的应用之一,和Uber、Grab共同竞争打车市场。在当地你要是看见装备了绿色制服和头盔的摩托车骑手,十有八九他是一名Go-Jek司机。

除了汽车版本,Uber今年2月起在泰国、印尼等地区也开通了UberMOTO服务,试图攻下东南亚摩托车市场。

据TechCrunch 报道,8月4日Go-Jek争取到5.5亿美元的新一轮融资(约36.5亿人民币)。报道表示,融资后Go-Jek的市值估计将达13亿美元。足以看出这个打摩托车的app有多火。

目前Go-Jek称旗下有20万名摩托车司机,这些司机在印尼当地称为“ojeks”。

Go-Jek的创始人Nadiem Makarim在美国的布朗大学修完国际贸易专业后,回国在麦肯锡的雅加达分公司呆了3年,辞职后又辗转于几家国有企业,后来又做起了一项项目“印尼青年领袖”。

“印尼青年领袖”是为了让印尼就读三年大学的青年更好地准备进入职场。而这个项目也成为了Nadiem在2009年决定就读哈佛商学院的原因之一。

在动身前往哈佛之前,Nadiem产生了一个想法,并想通过这个想法将雅加达整个城市聚集起来。他认为,上班通勤的人可以联系一个客服中心,然后呼叫一只摩的来接送他们上下班或者去其他任何地方。

2010年8月Nadiem将这个想法付诸于现实,创立了Go-Jek。

我最初先建立了一个客服中心,一个有着几名接线员的小公寓,然后招募了20名司机。创业初期,从向身边的朋友和家人推销我的服务开始,以此为起步,Go-Jek缓慢地成长起来。

2011年Go-Jek转型为手机软件服务,除了20万名“自由司机”,还有数百名提供其它服务的人员。

Go-Jek后来在打摩的的基础上延伸出了外卖服务Go-Food、快递服务Go-Send、电商服务Go-Mart、第三方支付平台Go-Pay,甚至还有通过Go-Massage上门美容按摩等服务。

我们没有预料到,三个月内就有300万人下载了我们的应用,才两个月就实现了我们的年终目标。一年内就有超过1100万的下载量,大大超过了我们的预期。

近期Go-Jek还刚推出了Go-Car,并且和印尼最大的几家银行合作,来完善Go-Pay的支付系统。

哪家公司创业不坎坷,Go-Jek也是

创业过程不可能是一帆风顺的。Go-Jek在刚发行之初就因为用户量过大系统几近崩溃,接着印尼政府还发行了一项针对出行软件12小时的禁令(后来总统和副总统取消了禁令)。

而竞争对手除了同类型软件Uber和Grab,还有传统的出租车运营公司。今年3月,当地就爆发了传统出租车司机和出行软件司机的暴力冲突事件。

虽然Go-Jek做的是摩的生意,但也被卷入这场争端中。

BBC报道视频中就显示了,一群传统出租车司机扯住一个路过的Go-Jek司机,对其进行殴打,并将其绿色的Go-Jek制服脱下丢在路上焚烧。

这件事对我们来说是一个非常大的障碍,但我们还是熬过去了。

我们得到了政府的大力支持,我们也认为只要可以为给这个国家的大部分居民提供福利,提升他们的生活水平和幸福感,他们最终也会给予我们支持。

是对手但也是最好的朋友

在就读哈佛商学院期间,Nadiem结交到了一名好朋友,而这位好朋友最终也成为了他最强劲的对手,GrabTaxi的创始人之一兼现任CEO,Anthony Tan。

GrabTaxi作为东南亚打车软件巨头,其总部设立在新加坡。GrabTaxi曾在 2015年8月获得以中国投资有限责任公司为首的3.5亿美元投资,“滴滴快的”也参与了投资,这轮投资也让GrabTaxi的市值达到7亿美元。

他是我最要好的朋友之一。我们经常互相请教对方关于商业上的问题,我打算“接管”两轮的,而他打算“接管”四个轮的。

直至现在,Nadiem和Anthony Tan还是好朋友,Nadiem也承认GrabTaxi是推动Go-Jek成功的因素之一。

近几周,Go-Jek一直位列印尼区最受欢迎的iOS免费应用第一名,还产生了雅加达许多人辞去了原先的工作,争抢着当Go-Jek的司机的现象。

Go-Jek能在竞争激烈的打车软件中脱颖而出,与创始人Nadiem Makarim懂得因地制宜来运营其服务密不可分。

现年30岁的Nadiem接受BBC 采访时说:

我不是第一个产生像Go-Jek想法的人,在我之前已经有很多人想到可以这么做,只是我是第一个将这个想法在大范围内实施应用了。

日前,滴滴和Uber中国区的合并预示了交通出行的前景。Go-Jek获得5.5亿美元融资的同时,也获得了全世界的关注,不知道未来Go-Jek将借此顺流而上?还是昙花一现?但目前看来,Go-Jek势头生猛着呢!
