  中国网新闻8月10日讯 据美媒《华盛顿邮报》报道,在全球各大城市的通勤者都哀叹于交通堵塞问题的同时,各种可供选择的交通方式反而加重了道路拥堵状况。以此为背景,日前中国正式推出的城市交通“治堵神器”——TEB-1,给广受城市交通折磨的人们带来了一线希望。


  这辆巨大的“空中巴士”又称“巴铁”,横跨两条街道,车厢长22米,宽7.8米,高4.8米,载客数300人。虽然目前“巴铁”仍停留在概念车的阶段,距离量产推广还有相当长的路要走。但是它却被寄希望于在将来用以缓解中国及全球其他大城市的交通堵塞问题。


  “巴铁”的概念首次披露于2010年,而其试验车也于今年五月首次亮相。日前,负责该项目的巴铁科技发展有限公司在河北秦皇岛启动了“巴铁”1号试验车的综合路面实验, 并且打开车门,迎接了第一批未来潜在的乘客。

  “巴铁”到底哪里强:便宜快速还节能


  行驶于预设轨道上这一点,让“巴铁”听起来仿佛与普通的火车及电车没什么太大的差别。但其关键差异在于,“巴铁”将完美利用城市道路中的二次空间,行驶在现有道路的上方,进而可免去修建公路或地铁等基础设施。因此,与传统地铁相比,“巴铁”的预算仅为其十分之一。


  此外,“巴铁”的预计时速可达每小时60公里。作为新能源的公共交通工具,“巴铁”还将采用市政电力进行驱动,可以进一步减少空气污染。


  因此,无论是从速度、整体预算还是从环保角度出发,“巴铁”都将比地铁工程更有可行性。

  中国“巴铁”能否嫁入美国“道路”:前程漫漫 潜力不可限量


  据报道称,“巴铁”的下层挖空部分,可以正常行驶高度2米以下的车辆。而“巴铁”的构想能否适用于美国国情,则在目前尚无定论。就试验车的数据来看,虽然中型轿车仍可被轻松“跨过”,但大型SUV以及卡车可能仍是一个不小的挑战。


  此外,“巴铁”在高速上进行少量转弯虽然有着一定的实践性。但对于每个城市都很常见的十字路口或狭窄街道而言,“巴铁”则有着不小的操作难度。例如在华盛顿的环形交叉路口上,“巴铁”便很难扭动其庞大的身躯了。


  布鲁金斯学会的成员Adie Tomer认为,将“巴铁”导入到美国将存有一定的难度。一方面,对于不习惯转变审美的美国人而言,“巴铁”的奇特外观可能会遭冷落。另一方面,铺设几公里轨道及购买“巴铁”意味着大笔的基础设施建设资金。在这一点上,与中国可以“集中力量办大事”的优越性相比,美国是无法轻易做到的。
