核心现场一片狼藉 蒸汽管道破裂
记者在爆炸核心现场看到，操作间外银白色的蒸汽管道发生了破裂，破裂后产生的巨大蒸汽和冲击波，现场一片狼藉，操作间的玻璃完全被震碎，金属的椅子和桌子都已损毁，屋内部分物品已经变形，无法分辨出样子。
据了解，事发时共有20多人在内作业，进行热能调试工作时发生了蒸汽管破裂。目前现场搜救工作已经完成，但安全排查工作仍在进行。
部分伤者烫伤较为严重 今日凌晨仍在医院进行抢救
事故发生后，受伤的5个人被送到医院，其中3人伤势较重。截至12日凌晨三点半，伤者仍在当阳市人民医院重症监护室进行抢救。
伤者罗文的家属冯先生表示，伤者除了头发和脚以外，90%的都烫伤了。由于伤势严重，冯先生见到罗文的时候，他的意识已经不太清醒，医生正对他进行抢救。
据了解，受伤的5位工人都为烫伤，其中还有部分伤员伴有骨折等伤情。工作人员表示，目前伤者生命体征相对稳定。
国家安全监管总局已派出工作组赶赴事故现场
接到事故报告后，国家安全监管总局派出工作组赶赴事故现场，指导协助当地全力做好现场救援和事故处理工作。湖北省委省政府主要领导带领湖北省安监局也在事发后，赶到现场指挥救援。目前，项目装置都已经被关停，没有发生次生灾害。相关善后工作还在继续进行。
