“我们村自被发现以来，一直说要保护，但直到现在也没人修缮，目前处于任其发展的状态。”面对因年久失修，数间古屋坍塌的现象，已经在千年古村大汖村生活近60年的刘大娘如是说。
大汖古村位于山西省盂县梁家寨乡深山沟谷中，整个村子50余座小院落建在一整块山体上，依山就势，由下而上，形成了独特别致的造型；村间小路也是依山势而走，在弯弯曲曲的山体上凿出来石阶，连接各家各户，形成一个不可分割的整体。
这个依山而建的石头村曾因道路崎岖而外人罕至。近年来，大汖村被偶然发现，以其奇特的建筑样式惊于世人，被游客称为“深山里的布达拉宫”。随后，游人、画家、摄影师、多国建筑学家纷至沓来。

逐渐热闹起来的古村，让部分村民发现了商机，开始售卖山货及商品，有的还开了简易的农家乐。
记者初见刘大娘便是在她家的院子里。14日午间，饭后的刘大娘和他80岁的老伴韩大爷坐在自家院子里说笑，简陋而温馨的院子中央，一张桌子上摆满了待卖的商品。见有游客进入，刘大娘迅速起身开始热情推荐她自制的山货。
闲聊间，刘大娘告诉记者，自己17岁那年便嫁至大汖村，当时村里尚有几百余人；然而，随着时光流逝，村里的老人相继去世，年轻人纷纷外出打工，目前村里只有14位原住民老人相依相守。
由于多年来习惯了在村里的生活，两位老人不愿搬离村子跟随自己的儿女生活。身体依旧健朗的老两口，坚持下地干农活。“我们吃的蔬菜都是自己种的，”刘大娘说。
谈及几年前开始的小生意，刘大娘喜笑颜开的称，现在来村里的人渐渐多了起来，生意也不错，每个月都有600元（人民币，下同）左右的收益。
刘大娘家的院子里挂着诸多关于古村建筑的照片，一幅名为“深山里的小布达拉宫”的作品引起笔者注意。该作品拍摄于几年前，呈现了当时整个古村的众多古屋。
但笔者在游走整个古村时发现，大汖村的古屋已没有了照片中的景象，不仅古屋建筑数量减少，即使尚存的古屋有的也是破败不堪，或墙体倒塌，或窗棂破烂，或屋顶倾斜，杂草丛生。
刘大娘说，村里大多是老弱病残，留在村里的人只能修缮下自家居住的房屋，空置的大多数只能听之任之。
面对坍塌越来越严重的大汖村，刘大娘十分无奈。“早就说要保护古村落，却一直没人来修缮。”唯一有所改变的便是一条崭新的柏油路代替了当初的崎岖山路，开车可直接抵达村口。
尽管如此，大汖村的保护依旧是迫在眉睫。数据显示，从2000年至2010年，中国自然村由363万个锐减至271万个。10年间，90多万个自然村消失。
山西是中国文物大省，但文保方面一直面临窘境。中国民间文艺家协会副主席常嗣新曾对外表示，古建面积在2万平方米以上的古村落，山西大约有2000座。但由于资金不足、产权纠纷等原因，大多数古村落年久失修，近一半古建筑面临倒塌危险。
据了解，盂县官方出台的《盂县旅游产业发展总体规划》显示，有关大汖古村落的保护开发将作为盂县近中期旅游景区（点）重点建设项目。记者从该项目开发商处了解到，欲投资3040万元对大汖古村进行保护建设。
