今年年初谢某发现开设色情网站来钱更快更容易，随后，他通过网络租用了一个境外服务器用于架设黄色网站，并购买了一个他人的支付宝账户，用于收取售卖黄色网站会员卡的违法收入；以58元、88元的价格售卖网站会员卡，并成功吸引了上万名网民到他的黄色网站浏览，其中，2千余名网民花钱购买了网站的会员卡。在短短半年时间，谢某通过出售黄色网站会员卡非法牟利17万余元，其网络云盘存储的淫秽视频和淫秽图片总量高达1.8T。
目前，谢某因涉嫌复制、贩卖、传播淫秽物品牟利罪，被大竹县公安局依法刑事拘留。
