  [环球网军事报道]8月16日凌晨,世界首颗量子科学实验卫星“墨子”号成功发射升空,中国将得以在世界上首次实现卫星和地面之间的量子通信。但围绕着量子通信的争议并没有中断,网上随即出现了一些质疑量子通信的说法。中国科学技术大学合肥微尺度物质科学国家实验室副研究员袁岚峰17日接受《环球时报》采访时表示,量子通信正是在质疑中发展壮大的,但技术性质疑不能阻止发展量子通信的战略方向。


  量子不可复制的特性,是量子通信安全性的根本来源。窃听者如果想拦截量子信号,就要对其进行测量,而这将破坏携带密钥信息的量子态,从而被发现。因此理论上,这种不可窃听不可复制的信息传输方式,可以保证信息传输的绝对安全,这是唯一一种从物理上保证信息安全的方式,和过去以计算复杂性为基础的传统密码通信相比要高明得多。


  但有人质疑,“看似无懈可击的量子通信方式,实际上是以牺牲信息稳定性为代价的”。因为一旦存在敌方任何形式的入侵行为,不管是窃听、复制还是干扰,稳定的量子通信都将无法实现。“从这个意义上说,量子通信可以说是只要有敌方存在就办不了事,而这样的系统,最终也只能沦为摆设。”


  袁岚峰表示,在量子通信过程中,量子被测量时会发生状态的突变,通信双方一旦发现状态有变就会停止通信,因此窃听确实会阻挠通信。但这并不等于说量子通信没有用。他认为,首先,这种敌对的阻挠是一次性的;其次,跟安全但可能被阻挠的量子通信比较的对象,应该是畅通但可能泄密的传统通信。与通信被阻断相比,泄密更不可取。尤其是在安全性因素压倒一切的特殊需求中,量子通信的地位无可替代;再次,当量子计算机实用化时,传统通信会变成完全无密可言。到那时,如果没有量子通信的手段,中国将会无从选择。


  “因此,无论有多少技术性的问题,量子通信都应该作为国家的战略方向,大力去发展。这不是80分和90分的区别,而是0和1的区别。量子通信的技术性问题可以在发展中不断改进,但前提是一定要去做,不做是肯定不行的。”


  关于量子通信历来存在各种各样反对的声音和观点,甚至有些观点把量子通信与量子计算,即整个量子信息学科,都视为伪科学。袁岚峰告诉《环球时报》记者,“去看看《自然》《科学》《物理评论快报》等顶级学术期刊,会发现全球很多科学家都在从事量子通信和量子计算方面的研究。这是近年来科学界的重点发展领域。这些项目多次入选年度十大科学突破等,得到国际的公认。”


  “量子信息的研究者并不是一个封闭的团体,正相反,他们欢迎对量子信息的质疑,不断寻找所有可能的漏洞,再找办法弥补。”袁岚峰举例说,1984年提出的BB84量子密码协议是否安全,一直都有人质疑。直到1999年,才完成安全性证明,文章发表在《科学》上,这是一个里程碑式的工作。后来发现大部分漏洞来自于测量仪器,所以又发明了安全性与测量仪器无关的量子密钥分发技术。这个新技术被评为2013年全球物理学十大进展和2014年中国十大科技进展之一。袁岚峰称,“正是在这种不断的质疑与改进中,整个学科才不断进步。这是科学研究的通例。”▲[环球时报记者 倪浩]
