长征五号火箭使用中国新研制氢氧发动机
中新社西安8月19日电  (记者 田进)位于西安航天基地的中国航天科技集团六院19日召开长征五号首飞进场动员会。该院为长征五号火箭提供芯一级、二级、助推、辅助动力系统等发动机,新研制的两种型号氢氧发动机作为火箭一、二级主动力,首次承担飞行试验任务,将实现中国氢氧发动机研制的技术跨越。
  长征五号火箭是中国现役运载能力最大、规模最大的火箭,高56.97米,芯级直径5米,最大起飞质量867吨,运载能力分别达到地球同步转移轨道13吨,近地轨道25吨。作为中国采用无毒、无污染推进剂的新一代大型运载火箭,该型火箭也是中国运载火箭升级换代的里程碑和重要标志,肩负着提升中国航天运输系统综合实力,达到国际领先水平的历史重任,意义十分重大。中国未来空间站的建设、探月三期工程及其它深空探测的实施都将使用该型火箭。
  据介绍,新研制的两种型号氢氧发动机作为火箭一、二级主动力,是首次承担飞行试验任务,将实现中国氢氧发动机研制的技术跨越。助推采用8台120吨液氧煤油发动机,在长征七号、长征六号首飞任务中表现完美。为上面级提供的两台主发动机、若干台上面级姿态控制发动机承担了“空间摆渡车”的作用,将有效载荷精确送到预定轨道。
  中国航天科技集团六院院长刘志让说,长征五号火箭首飞是对中国近些年研制的新一代火箭发动机全面系统考核,该院已派出60余名科研人员组成的试验队伍前往发射场执行任务。
