本案中，24岁的王某采取广撒网的方式，群发此类短信进行诈骗，不想还未骗到一分钱，就被抓获归案。
去年12月7日至12月10日间，王某乘车从长沙至武汉江夏区庙山开发区游玩。他用笔记本电脑、信号发射器等设备，以银行官方客服电话的形式，给不特定手机用户群发虚假扣费信息短信进行诈骗。4天时间内，他发送13553条。
12月10日下午，王某在庙山开发区某连锁酒店内被抓获。警方从他乘坐的车内查获2台笔记本电脑，和一台信号发射器等作案工具。
据王某交代，他利用发射器群发诈骗短信，只要有人按照短信内容回电，接听电话的人就会设下圈套，使受害者上当受骗。诈骗方同时以转账方式，给王某发放数百元的酬劳。
近日，江夏检察院提请公诉，指控他诈骗犯罪。江夏区法院认定他诈骗罪名成立，被判刑3年3个月。
