　　据辽宁检验检疫局方面介绍，8月18日，辽宁沈阳检验检疫局邮检办事处查验人员在入境信函中进行过机查验时，发现一信函过检时图像异常。经进一步查验，发现其信封中夹带疑似携带昆虫标本。

　　自沈阳检验检疫局邮检办事处成立以来，曾多次截获昆虫标本，但截获数量、种类如此之多尚属首次。这些昆虫标本中最大个体体长近10厘米，最小个体体长0.5厘米，分装在5个同样的普通信函中，经调查，这批信函是由菲律宾寄出，收件方为个人。

　　因该批标本暂未取得检疫审批许可，也未提供输出国家官方机构出具的检疫证书，属中国明令禁止邮寄进境的物品。目前，检验检疫工作人员对该批标本进行了截留封存，并将对进货人及承运人作进一步调查。（完）
