　　中新网临高8月23日电（记者 付美斌）23日上午，在今年第8号台风“电母”中为营救被洪水围困群众而不幸牺牲的烈士欧阳文健追悼会及遗体告别仪式在海南临高县新文化馆举行。临高县城上万人自发走向街头，送别抗洪烈士欧阳文健魂归故里。

　　当天上午9时，欧阳文健烈士的灵车从临高县人民医院出发，途经民生路、临昌路、文明东路，到达县新文化馆。“亲爱的战友永远活在我们心中”、“向人民战士欧阳文健致敬”、“临高人民的好儿子欧阳文健一路走好”……临高县县直机关单位干部、沿街上万群众自发聚集到灵车途经道路两侧，拉起悼念条幅，含泪为英雄欧阳文健送行。

　　临高县新文化馆内，哀乐低回，庄严肃穆。海南省委省政府有关领导、省边防总队有关领导、烈士家乡政府代表和烈士家属及临高县四套班子领导成员和各有关部门、各乡镇负责、驻临高县军警官兵、社会各界人士逾千人现场参加告别仪式，中国公安部边防管理局政治部，海南省纪委、省委办公厅、省政府办公厅、省委政法委、省民政厅、团省委、桂阳县县政府等180多个单位和社会各界人士纷纷发唁电、敬献花圈等方式表示沉痛哀悼。

　　欧阳文健生前为海南临高边防支队机动中队下士，在台风“电母”期间执行营救被洪水围困群众任务中，奋不顾身，冲锋在前，不幸被洪峰卷走，壮烈牺牲。8月22日，中国公安部政治部授予欧阳文健同志“烈士”称号，并颁发献身国防金质纪念奖章；中国公安部边防管理局追认其为中国共产党党员；共青团海南省委追授为“优秀共青团员”、“海南青年五四奖章”称号；海南边防总队追记个人二等功；临高县委县政府追授“救灾爱民模范”称号。（完）
