　　“海斗”号的下潜记录是在“探索一号”科考船的首次航行中取得的，后者的首航也是中国海洋科技发展史上第一次万米级深渊科考。今天，在该船首航归来后的第11天，中科院在北京召开新闻发布会，专题公布这次科考的成果，其中大量万米深海科考细节在这次会上首次曝光。

　　刘心成说，“海角”号和“天涯”号深渊着陆器、“原位实验”号深渊升降器共进行17次大深度下潜，其中“天涯”和“原位实验”号3次突破万米深度，最大深度达10935米，在海底停留作业皆超过12小时。

　　值得一提的是，“海斗”号、“天涯”号、“海角”号、“原位实验”号都是中国自主研制的深海设备。中国科学院院长白春礼在当天的发布会上提到，这次科考是为实现国家“十三五”重点研发计划部署的万米载人/无人深潜科技目标所做的先期努力，为最终全面实现中国的万米深潜迈出了具有重要意义的一步。
