赵伟国董事长介绍，长江存储在武汉新芯的基础上成立，计划以三维闪存为切入点，进军高端存储器领域，并在2020年达到月产能30万片的目标，进入世界存储器企业第一梯队。届时，本项目将会贡献中国芯片制造自产率的8%。公司将采取自主研发与国际合作双轮驱动的方式，集全球资源，打造中国自主可控的世界级存储器产业基地。武汉新芯则是长江存储的全资子公司，业务布局物联网市场，公司的闪存和影像传感器技术水平位居世界第一梯队。

随后，万副主席近距离参观了无尘车间，并亲切地与公司高管进行交谈，进一步询问了公司的具体情况。他还特别关注了中国国产设备在公司生产区域的使用情况。

杨士宁博士介绍，长江存储不仅在满足行业标准和公司需求的情况下优先考虑中国国产设备，而且在使用中发现问题、提出建议，帮助中国国产设备厂商进步。目前，公司生产区域已有九台中国国产设备，其中四台已完全投入使用，剩下五台则处于生产验证阶段。

万副主席对长江存储和武汉新芯的营运和规划表示认同，并表达了对中国国产芯片和设备做大做强的期许。
