提起徐刘蔚，不少同事都说他“晚上经常吃方便面加班”，还有就是待人随和的他对工作要求很严格。假期也不闲着，一年春节期间，徐刘蔚专门组织到丹寨县最偏僻的乡镇调研，与村民开座谈会、拉家常，了解村民的想法，引导群众搬出大山，到城镇创业就业，同时把山区闲置土地集中起来最大限度发挥作用，加快种养结构调整。
