据报道，伦敦博物馆与《我的世界》发布了三张系列地图，让玩家可以回到过去，体验那场伦敦有史以来的最大灾难。

第一张地图时间设定在火灾发生前，图中隐藏语音机关，帮助玩家了解当时街道和社会的状况；第二张地图则是1666年伦敦大火发生的场景，玩家必须在火灾扩大前尽可能的疏散居民，同时也得运用周边环境控制火势，考验玩家的应变能力；第三张地图则更注重于让玩家进一步感受灾后重建的过程。

据了解，1666年9月2日凌晨，伦敦普丁巷一间面包铺失火。一阵大风将火焰很快吹过几条全是木屋的狭窄街道，然后又进入了泰晤士河北岸的一些仓库里。大火延烧了整个城市，连续烧了4天，包括87间教堂、44家公司以及13000间民房尽被焚毁，欧洲最大城市伦敦大约六分之一的建筑被烧毁。
