1 为什么叫“冰箭”？
明明是火箭，为什么又会有“冰箭”这个名字呢？这是因为长征五号火箭特殊的推进剂组合。长征五号的芯级，也就是中间的主体部分，发动机采用液氢液氧燃料，而助推器采用液氧煤油组合，由于液氢温度为-253℃，液氧为-183℃，也就是说，长征五号内部是远远低于冰点的超低温，所以被称为“冰箭”。当然，在点火之后，长征五号发动机喷出的烈焰温度仍然高达3000多度，此时它内外“冰火两重天”的极端状态，也是对中国航天技术的极大考验。
2 大火箭：长征五号是什么？
长征五号运载火箭，是中国迄今为止研制的最大推力运载火箭，因此之前都被简称为“大火箭”。它的芯级，也就是中间的主体部分直径达5米，并捆绑有4个3.35米直径的助推器，中国此前火箭芯级都是3.35米直径，长征一号是2.25米直径。它的低轨道（LEO，一般用于载人航天、高度较低的通讯卫星、遥感卫星等）运载能力可以达到25吨级，高轨道（GTO，一般用于气象卫星、深空探测器等）运载能力能够达到14吨级，将大幅提升中国航天进入空间的能力。
3 解密：长征五号是怎样到海南的？
中国此前的大多数火箭都是依靠铁路方式完成运输，但是一般涵洞隧道的通过极限要求，火箭直径不能超过3.35米，因此5米直径的长征五号不能走陆路，海运就成为必然选择。
长征五号于8月26日从天津港启航，经过6昼夜航行，经受住了复杂海况环境考验，安全抵达海南文昌清澜港码头。
4 首飞：长征五号要准备2个多月
根据安排，在完成卸船后，长征五号火箭将由中国文昌航天发射场通过公路运输方式，分段运送至发射场区。即日起至实施发射的两个多月时间里，长征五号运载火箭将在发射场区陆续开展一系列装配和测试工作。按照计划，长征五号火箭将于10月上旬完成分系统测试和匹配测试，10月下旬垂直转运至发射区，11月择机实施发射。（央视记者 李宁 李厦 中良 常连 何超 徐静）
