凤凰网文化：你曾经做过马克·吕布的助手，能不能讲讲那段往事？
肖全：我第一次跟他接触是1993年，94、95、96。93年是一个什么年代？我们都知道邓小平92年在中国的南海边画了一个圈，这个时候中国的改革开放刚刚开始不久。其实马克o吕布特别清楚他要什么，所以他会让陪他去逛中国最大的电器市场，包括火车站，他知道有民工潮什么的，他虽然不懂汉语，但是从他拍到的特别典型的1957年的中国，大跃进墙上那些宣传画，路边的墙上还有很多这种符号，他对这些东西非常的敏感。
马克·吕布一起床就身背数台照相机，他有三台M6，莱卡的，有两台R5，M6就是不同的镜头，比如说他全用定焦，28，35，50，然后R5的那个就是单反的，他就可以用90，他居然还有一个长焦。我觉得这个老爷子真的是不得了，他非常有活力，一直工作工作工作，一直到我们到一个餐厅，点菜的时候，他看见一个老板在拿大哥大，他让我去跟他说，说我想拍他。因为他不是在街上面，走到别人面前去拍，他觉得显得有点突兀，有点不太礼貌。后来我就跟那个人说，我说那边有一个法国非常非常有名的摄影家想拍你拿大哥大打电话，他说可以。他就过去拍了他，后来这个照片一直在他的画册里出现。还有一个我经常讲的故事，我每天早上去找他，早出晚归地工作，一直走，走走走，天快黑了，到了一个也是他认识的一个老板，在法国做公司的这么一个人，我们要去见他，到了那以后，我就说哎呀，终于可以把照相机收起来，不拍了，然后他说如果在那个地方碰到邓小平，我看你拍不拍。
他特别特别喜欢吃芒果，有一天我们在佛山好像是，他看到卖芒果的，就这种路边摊，然后他就让我去问多少钱，我说了以后，他嫌贵，没舍得买，走了。我没跟他说，就把那几个芒果买了，放在摄影包里面，我抬头，拍了他一张背影。后来天快黑的时候，我说马克，你看这是什么，他说哇，芒果，他特别特别开心。后来，我在2003年的时候，就是他80岁的时候，送了他一个生日礼物，就我把他在中国，我拍他的一些照片，做了一个明信片送给他，他开心得要死，封底就用的那张照片，就是一个背影，挂了一身的机器，低着个头，一头的银发。
后来我就说，作为摄影师，他要见证这个时代，作为男人，他要养家糊口。我在那个明信片写了一段话，我说送给一个80岁还在拍照片的人，我说我亲身感受到了一个摄影师是如何面对他的工作和生活，我觉得马克·吕布他只能让人敬仰，他却不能让人去效仿。
西方摄影师的爱情故事更让我着迷
凤凰网文化：难道你不想拍到80岁？
肖全：不是。我说的无法效仿是他天生的对摄影的敬畏和热爱，他的敏感，他的思辨，甚至他的浪漫。尤其不能效仿是，更多的是他的生活，他曾经参加过抗德游击队，他拍过包括第一代毛泽东，周恩来，他是第一个西方的摄影师拍中国领导人的。他在印度的时候，跟周恩来认识，然后他被周恩来邀请到中国来，很快给他一个签证。所以他当时在人民大会堂拍照片时，几乎他身边就没有其他的西方摄影师。他还拍过越南胡志明，拍过丘吉尔，拍过纳粹的集中营里面特别重要的一些纳粹头子。前不久看他的一个展览，有一个他的年表，他几乎每年都在世界各地游走，非常非常了不起。
他非常爱他的家庭，他结过两次婚，他真的影响我的是他的爱情故事。他有个同事叫法兰克·霍瓦，出了一本书叫《摄影大师对话录》，法兰克·霍瓦跟他聊天的时候他说，当我遇见我所爱的女人以后，她令到我重新出发了，这个令他出发的人就是他热爱着的那个凯瑟琳。就让我想起另外一个摄影师约瑟夫·寇德卡，他是一个捷克人，就是《生命中不能承受之轻》米兰·昆德拉写的这个。我觉得受这帮西方摄影师的影响，除了他们的工作，他们的爱情故事更加地让我着迷。
比如像马克·吕布和布勒松，他们有好多传世的那种照片，马克·吕布的成名作《埃菲尔铁塔上的油漆工》，他是那么优雅，他在劳动，好像他在吹着口哨似的，那个本来就是法国人的那种浪漫。前几年我专门爬了埃菲尔铁塔上，我就到他拍摄那个油漆工的地方拍摄，向他致敬。第二天我见到他，他已经老成那个样子了，我把那个照片给他看，我觉得马克·吕布一定不遗憾，他在他这个年龄做了他该做的事情。
