　　环境保护部副部长、国家核安全局局长李干杰日前在北京会见了西屋电气公司新任代理全球总裁兼首席执行官何睿泽先生。双方就共同关心的AP1000核电项目进展、中国和美国核电及核安全合作等有关问题进行了交流。

　　李干杰首先对何睿泽一行的到来表示欢迎。他说，西屋电气公司是中国和美国核电合作的重要一方，希望双方能继续就核电项目的关键问题保持沟通，扩大和深化合作，共同发展。

　　李干杰简要介绍了中国核电发展现状。他说，现在中国建成和在建的核电机组一共是56台，其中32台已投入商业运行，24台正在建设。中国32台核电机组自投入商业运行以来，持续保持着良好的安全运行记录，未发生过影响环境或公众健康的核事件或事故，多数核电厂的安全业绩始终保持世界同类电厂的中上水平。

　　李干杰指出，针对中国的经济发展、能源结构调整、能源安全保障和环境保护而言，发展核电有很强的重要性、正当性、必然性。核安全是核电发展的生命线，是核电发展的重要基础和保障，中国一直以来与国际核电合作伙伴保持着紧密和良好的合作关系，未来中国与美国在核电发展与核安全等方面还有着非常大的合作空间，有着广阔的前景。

　　在谈及AP1000项目时，李干杰表示，AP1000项目是中国和美国两国最大的能源合作项目，对中国和全球的核电发展也都非常重要。希望西屋公司继续秉持“安全第一”的原则，在确保安全的前提下，推进项目顺利进行。

　　何睿泽对李干杰的欢迎表示感谢。他说，西屋电气公司希望同中方保持全面、透明的信息共享与沟通，进一步开展密切的合作，推动中国和美国AP1000核电项目的顺利建设。
