“画人物第一印象很关键。”颛孙中华介绍，肖像画的精髓在于对人物眼神的刻画与描绘。在一年时间里，他不断翻阅相关图像、视频资料，甚至通过听各国特色音乐的方式寻找灵感。
“在这样重大的历史事件里，希望能留下一点记录。”颛孙中华说，他2013年来到杭州，如今在杭州已开了工作室，打算以后常住杭州，“走了这么多城市，我最喜欢的还是杭州。”
以二十国集团领导人为素材进行创作的，还有中国非物质文化遗产传承人吴小莉，她用捏塑的艺术形式，创作了一套名为《世界和平梦》的作品。这套作品惟妙惟肖地刻画了G20杭州峰会与会领导人的肖像，并刚刚在俄罗斯的“2016中国和俄罗斯艺术交流展”上获得金奖。作为文化交流的桥梁，她的捏塑作品让包括联合国秘书长潘基文、前秘书长安南在内的国内外友人都赞不绝口。

“我希望借着峰会，让更多外国友人了解我们中国的刺绣艺术。”何奶奶说，这样的表达方式，既体现了国家间的友好，也体现了作为东道主的包容与大气。
而在临安有这么一位书刻艺术家，他用刻刀创作了奥巴马、邓小平、马云等名人的木刻肖像，表达了基层艺术家迎接盛会的喜悦之情。
这名书刻艺术家名叫许乐平，在他的“铁笔”之下所创造的名人肖像，立意巧妙，线条流畅，刚毅中还透着铜雕的质感。
回想起创作各国名人木刻肖像的日日夜夜，许乐平的体会很深：“艺术是不分国界的，但愿自己的作品，能让世界从中找到一种求同存异、和平相处的心灵语言。”
剪纸大师剪出一把“迎峰扇” 紫砂壶匠人做出一把“G20壶”
最近，住在朝晖街道塘南社区的吴善增老先生，因为一把扇子火了。
今年85岁的他，是国家非物质文化遗产（浦江剪纸）代表性传承人。为了即将到来的G20峰会，他将传统剪纸艺术搬上了扇面，打造了一把别具一格的扇子，并取名为“迎峰扇”。
“迎峰扇”扇面分绿色、棕色、紫色等不同版本。“说起杭州，第一个想到的是西湖，而说起西湖呢，三潭印月就是最具代表的景点。”扇面上，盛开的、含苞待放的荷花，随风飘扬的杨柳，还有游人泛舟湖上。
吴师傅说，这次把剪纸的纸张换成了更有韧性、牢固度更高的纤维纸，但也增加了剪纸的难度。作品完成后，再送去王星记扇厂，由专业人员将剪纸画粘贴在透明丝绸上。因为纯手工剪和雕刻，每一把扇子的出炉都可谓精雕细琢，当然成品也很有限。
“希望通过剪纸这门传统艺术，向各国友人展现杭州的魅力、中国传统文化的魅力。”吴师傅创作的这把“迎峰扇”已经被不少人看中。
有人做出“迎峰扇”，也有人做出“G20壶”。
“你看，这个壶钮是G，壶嘴是2，壶把是0，加起来就是G20。”杭州手工艺活态馆的紫砂壶作坊，徐成顺拿着一把他自己设计制作的G20紫砂壶，向来访的客人介绍着。
自从得知杭州要举办G20峰会，紫砂壶匠人徐成顺就酝酿着做一把以G20为主题的紫砂壶。“我是杭州人啊，想用自己的手艺为杭州做点事情。”为了让大家一目了然，徐成顺做的壶，壶嘴用“2”来表示，壶钮是“G”，“0”放在壶把上恰到好处。“我这个壶身做得很圆很大，也是有寓意的，一来表示一个地球一个家的理念，二来也象征着包容、有容乃大的境界。”
