另一方面，今年8月，全国平均降水量93.8毫米，较常年同期（105.3毫米）偏少11%，但强降水过程频繁。8月，中国出现6次强降水过程，受强降水影响，华南及内蒙古、宁夏等地遭受洪涝等灾害，部分地区内涝严重。8月有多个台风生成，个数偏多，登陆台风个数接近常年。
