记者：还有企业家做不挣钱的事？
马云：我大概公司里做的所有的重要的决定，所有重要决定都跟钱没关系的。只要跟钱有关系的决定，都是同事做的，我不做这个，这样才会我们走到今天。如果一个企业脑子，我说你这个脑子里想的是钱，这个是人民币，这个是美元，张嘴就是港币，人家不愿意跟你这样的人交朋友，做不好事，员工也看不起你，对吧，谈钱太庸俗。
记者：我跟你在这个级别上没法对话，因为我们对钱完全不一样的认识。
马云：我们都一样，我今天为止，我大概20年没拿工资过，我都不知道该怎么花钱，我身上都不带钱。
记者：是因为你身边有很多人在替你在做这些事情？
马云：对，但是正因为我不爱钱，才今天有那么多的资源，如果你爱钱了，你的钱不会多。
记者：那你当时做生意不是为了钱吗，还是为了什么？
马云：我因为那年被评为学校里面这个十大杰出教师，我说我怎么可能当，我所有教学生的东西都是我自己的，所以我想去做个公司，十年以后再回学校教书的，这是我当时的出发点。就是以后，主要是可以吹牛的资本有了。所以我从来没想过，这个只是开玩笑人家问我，你将来？我说我将来会很有钱，但是这个钱我没概念。
