数据显示，8月全国各类型正常运营的众筹平台总计380家，分布在全国27个省市，多以经济发达的沿海省份和地区为主。新增平台数量31家，倒闭平台数量17家，另有3家平台众筹板块下架。

从具体项目来看，8月份，众筹行业共成功项目6724个，较2016年7月环比增加7.1%；全国众筹行业共成功筹资12.66亿元，较7月环比下降2.99%。

在过去的一个月中，全国众筹行业投资人次达1117.66万人，与7月投资人次相比，环比增加了9.79%，其中奖励众筹投资人次仍为最多。

2016年8月，从全国众筹平台成功项目已筹资金额地区分布来看，北京、广东和浙江仍然位列前三，已筹资金额分别达3.52亿元、2.58亿元和2.29亿元。
